When I first started to play SoT, I wasn't lucky because I went attacked and killed by a 4 player ships and bullied. Tho; The Shrine of Ocean was the really "officially" thing I went to, when I started playing it again and this time with a crew! I was abit overwhelmed and abit lost, but I have to tell that it was the Shrine of Ocean that made me LOVE and stay in SoT for a long while! I wasn't alone and I was having fun.

I love them! They are one of my favourite things in the game now. Some are better than others but the better ones are really fun!

@@Masarofia Funny story; whilst recording the footage for this video I heard some splashing around and then two pirate players appeared. As soon as I heard them my mind was 'ok, so now they have destroyed the ship and they will come kill me and I need to change server.' But they came over, waved, asked me what I was doing and I explained it was for my KZbin channel. They were super interested and they both subscribed there and then. After I finished recording, which took a few hours, I swam back up and my ship was fine :D

​@@Masarofia you can scuttle your ship and complete the shrine. You put all the loot in a mermaid who releases it when you ask, so you can return to your ship, flag up if you want and get back to the shrine and collect the loot. I've used that method a few times.

@@MrOskiee This guy knows what he's doin. Yeah that's how you do it. I will actually leave my ship sailing in circles in random loops to make it look somewhat like I'm active, but scuttling it to an entirely new location is a good idea as well.
