pain and heartache is a forever thing. Talking about the pain that occurred in your life is always sweet relief no matter what your age.

His mother was schizophrenic and couldn’t help how she was . I loved Tony all his life . I was a little girl when I first laid eyes on him and was Gobsmacked right from that very first glance . He sounds the same here and his eyes are the same . What a man personally and professionally! May He Rest In Peace 🙏♥️

Some comments on here mention she's too direct, etc. I understand, truly. But to me, she comes across as a clinician who shows her colors as a person: she says what she thinks, provides guidance... i dislike when psycologists ONLY ask questions, with a pokerface on.

She is too aggressive and insensitive with HOW she questions...don't approve of how she feels interviews...she tells him how HE feels....

She's originally a New Zealander actually. Yes, she does have a bit of an Irish lilt! A little Kiwi, mixed in with an LA accent with Irish in for good measure......

I think Tony is representing his feelings now looking back at his childhood, not what his feelings were at the time,,,,as it would be hard to remember his exact feelings 70 years ago. He is somewhat manufacturing feelings.

Do you know the meaning of "trauma"? I've studied Psychology, analysts or someone with experience enough in that cience have the proper elements that let them to bring all those traumatic experiences which have been torturing patients for so long time back at the present;that's analysis is about;there're some facts in life you never forget and you can remember those "encrypted memories" vividly even 70,80 or more years after;l'm pretty sure Tony wasn't acting,he simply opened up his heart and would let all his painful memories flow up;after all he was Bernard Schwartz with his ups and downs, with his time of happiness and his horrible tragedies;not all is acting.

@@miriamcontini7585 interesting...i totally get it. sounds like you speak from experience or study. thanks for the enlightenment. Loved Tony Curtis....just a high-energy magical performer. there are certain individuals that are just gifted for their art and have everything all come together at once, .....he is one such actor. I believe Lemmon was another.

Harpoon Bakery Your welcome, and agree with you,Tony Curtis was an awesomely talented actor and a great man just like Jack Lemmon was without a shadow of doubt, both of them deeply missed but never forgotten

Pamela almost sounds irish at the beginning of this interview. I think cause she's australian and lived in america for soo long her accent goes odd from time to time.

Video starts at 2:38 8:29 WTF? What does he mean by his mother had no business getting pregnant? He has no business making that assertion. I don't think he is in his best state of mind for any type of program where they exploit a persons psychological make up. He is in his 80's! This is a farce! He may not have been a great kind person, so people say. But this is just unfair. I can't even watch anymore. It's just too weird.
