Wow! I feel as if I am right there in the midst of all the goodness, craziness and laughter. Sarcasm of Liz…best ever - hopelessness of Paul - on point (Harrison Ford THANK YOU!!) PTSD is truly observed of Shawn - Lost of Jimmie - Happy Retirement of Derek - Wonderland of Alice - Girl Power to Gabby - Procrastinating Brian. What a power house show! I have recommended it to so many family and friends and once you are in…you are hooked! No leaving this town!! If you are ready to get all of the drama outside of your own head and what is out in the world, finally there is HOPE! Shrinking has the ability to truly take it all away, Calgon has nothing on Shrinking, not even a hot refreshing shower can soothe you like Shrinking can! Sit back, drink that cup of coffee or have a shot of whiskey, just enjoy the show in your own comfortable surroundings and be ready to want MORE, much MORE!

My favorite show in quite awhile. Suberb acting with perfect comedic timing, love all the characters, and great writing. Refreshing to look forward to watching something that doesn't stress us out, i.e., end of the world/murders, etc. Highly recommend.

I have loved how real this show is about pain and rebuilding your life after loss. They do it in such a way that it mixes the joy and sadness togethe and you find find moments you can connect to on either side. The comedy is dry, but the jokes land. I've loved this show!

Thoroughly enjoyed all the emotions and realness of this show. Each character offered something special to the plot and it weaved beautifully in and out of each storyline. I’d tear up one moment and then be laughing the next in each episode. It has all the feels. Looking forward to S2 dropping (hopefully in the near distant future). Highly recommend!

Love this show so far. Life is unpredictable and seeing that through the eyes of a shrink who makes a living off helping others solve/combat their life issues is a unique perspective. Especially since his life and own emotional state is far from perfect. Looking forward to more episodes!

FINALLY!, A show that touches on real life therapy. If you actually listen to the statements the characters are making they are messages used in real therapy. After coming out of a pandemic, all the chaos in the world and all the dysfunctional relationships..this show with its comical genius satire, really hits home and resonates with the audience...if you let it! 😉 BTW..great cast!

I love the show, I love all the characters. Harrison Ford is a perfect choice for his character. I've actually learned from the show as well for example, 15 minutes of allowing yourself to really be sad then moving on with life. I really think that advice could help alot of people. I'm going to be sad when I've binged all episodes. Hopefully there will be a second season.

Great show--the characters aren't perfect, but they are trying and that is kind of the whole point of the show. Harrison Ford is great in this role, especially in Paul's interactions with Alice. Jessica Williams is fantastic as Gaby. Are some of the characters tropes? Sure--it is a comedy, not a documentary. Overall, it has the same feel and pulls at your heart in the same way as Ted Lasso. Looking forward to season 2.

In one 5 minute stretch in Episode 1, the protagonist wasn't planning to go to his daughter's soccer game but changes his mind and is now in such a panic about being a minute late that he leaves his car parked on the sidewalk which he says is fine because he is White; tells the Black ex-soldier he is with to try to keep up as he takes an inexplicable route to the field over fences and up hills that he can't climb and has to be carried up by the soldier; witnesses his daughter score a goal within seconds; and is attacked by a client's disgruntled husband who magically knows where his wife's therapist's daughter is playing a soccer game that the protagonist himself hadn't even planned on attending. I can enjoy implausible dialogue and actions but with literally every scene in this show you are telling yourself that there is no way any of this would happen in real life.

I liked it so much when it first started. Each episode slowly seemed to be running out of good dialogue, and in its place substituted banal sex scenes or vulgar dialogue about sex, none of which was at all interesting or funny. It felt like adolescent humor. I was disappointed because I wanted so much to continue liking it. I was surprised to learn that some of the same writers work on Ted Lasso, a series I love so much and can’t get enough of.
