Dude, I haven’t seen a bumper install video on a 3rd gen that doesn’t involve modifying these end caps.. lol... that’s why I haven’t done it on mine..good job guys...

This was a good video right up to where you didn't show any love for the distance between those bolt holes when you welded on the end caps and then you had to skip the entire mounting because, as was obvious by the hammer action you tried, the bolts didn't line up. Good disassembly vid, though....

In fact, if I were Shrockworks I might even ask you to take this vid down, 'cause without showing how to align those bolt holes with each other and the frame, you could see someone butchering their frame ends and not getting those holes right, which is not repairable without certain skill. This would basically be a disaster for most home mechanics.

@@gpaolino Yeah that was painful! As a welder I was getting anxious when he just tapped the bracket in and said ok good enough lets weld. *facepalm* He should have ground down the edges and the piece to insert if it wasn't going in smooth.

@@gpaolino Yep, that's a fact. When I put mine on I was pretty careful about working on those brackets, but even then they still weren't perfect and it made getting that a bumper on a real bitch (especially working by myself).

Hey could you tell me the number and size of the bolts naughts that support the bumper. and like any other bolts/ screws n/s aswell for the front, lights,bumper, grill, etc.

I have called 2 places and they charge over $500.00 to install.. it takes them 3 hours to install. That's way too expensive.

The moment he says toyota doesn’t really do a good job of putting an end cap on, i stop watching lol. Toyota did obviously design that cap for that stock bumper not a custom one so saying didn’t do a good job is inaccurate.
