Thank you. What's interesting about Jesus' height is the Shroud shows him as a little taller than the average person of that time, and Pilots' writings that have been found mentioned that Jesus seemed taller to Pilot than his followers and the people to who he was talking.

Pilate's writings? This is false information. We don't have his writings. Although, Justin and Tertullian mentioned letters of Pilate to Tiberius, those are gone. Forgeries of Pilate pop up later in history.

At 32:06 The late Susan Benford, Joe Marino's wife, noted in one of her early videos that what is being said at this time mark is accurate. She was able to show many years ago that the samples from one lab were of different ages than the other in direct proportion to their positions. In other words, each sample in a row a continuously changing date about where it was cut from the Shroud. This is one of the best and most convincing presentations I've seen on the Shroud of Turin. 'Then he took it down and wrapped it in a linen *shroud'* [Luke 23:53] Each of the synoptic Gospels mention Joseph of Arimathea making use of a single linen cloth to wrap the body of Jesus for burial. The Word 'Sindon' (singular noun ) means 'A clean sheet' and the Word 'Othonion' (plural noun) means 'bandages'. Luke uses the same plural noun (Othonion), “funeral linens,” in his account of the Resurrection (Luke 24: 12) after earlier speaking of the singular burial cloth (Sindon) or *shroud* (Luke 23 :53) . This plural noun mentioned in (Luke 24: 12) is intended to include all the funeral elements such as : 1) A long *shroud( - It's used to wrap whole body 2)A face cloth or 'Soudarion' - It's not used to wrap whole head but to wipe the perspiration from one’s face. The Greek word 'Soudarion' was derived from a Latin word for “sweat.” 3)A few stripes of linen - They help to tie a shroud around a body The Fourth Gospel never mentions such a 'Sindon'. According to the GOSPELS' CONTEXT the Shroud of Turin CANNOT BE the authentic burial cloth of Jesus Christ! This can be checked quite simply by trying to answer the following questions on the basis of the Bible: (1) What is the correct bible translation of the Greek word “sindón” - “a linen Shroud” or “linen cloth”? There is no indefinite article "a" in the original Greek texts of Matthew 27:59, Mark 15:46 and Luke 23:53. So, the CONTEXT is decisive and the correct unbiased translation/interpretation of SINDON must be "linen cloth" because Joseph of Arimathea bought ALL the needed burial linen cloth: bandages/strips (OTHONION) and the head cloth (SOUDARION). And John didn't mention SINDON in his gospel because he also didn't mention the all-inclusive purchase of Joseph of Arimathea. John focused more on the burial and resurrection details and there is nothing like the Shroud. (2) What happened to the “burial spices” - a 32 kg sticky mixture of myrrh and aloes? John 19 39Nicodemus, who had previously come to Jesus at night, also brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds [32 KG]. 40So they took the body of Jesus and wrapped it in linen cloths [OTHONION] with [META] the spices, according to the Jewish burial custom. Nicodemus was a leading Rabbi who knew WHAT was needed, HOW MUCH and that there was ENOUGH TIME to do the burial spicing. Jesus died around 3 pm and Sabbath started around 6 pm. Known the precise methods of crucifixion in the first century. 2. Be proficient enough in over 100 scientific disciplines and also collectively outweigh the intelligence of the people who performed hundreds and hundreds of tests on the Shroud and who are not finding any indications of a forgery. 3. Possessed the medical knowledge of a modern expert surgeon. 4. Utilized an art process unknown to any great master, never duplicated before or since. 5. Be able to foresee and approximate principles of photographic negativity that would not be discovered for centuries. 6. Imported a piece of old cloth of Middle Eastern manufacture. 7. Used a coloring agent which would be unaffected by intense heat. 8. Be able to incorporate in his work details (that have only recently been discovered), that the human eye cannot see and that are visible only with the most advanced computer-scanning devices. 9. Be able to reproduce flawlessly, on a nearly flat linen surface, in a single color, undistorted 3-D characteristics of a human body in a 'negative format' on the tops of the threads, while conversely showing the 'blood' as positive and soaking all the way through. 10. Get somewhere the blood of a tortured man and apply it before creating the image. 11. Get limestone from Jerusalem, and pollen particles from the middle east, in special from plants with thorns, that flourish only between March and April.

It is pure arrogance to claim that today we can explain everything that was done in the past. Check how long people were not able to replicate/explain artifacts and there are things still unknown, e.g. # Baalbek Stones: Nobody knows how stone blocks with more than 1000 tons were transported and lifted? # Antikythera mechanism: Nobody could replicate something like that for about 1500 years? # Iron pillar of Delhi: Still scientists cannot explain how this pillar was created about 1600 years ago and why it is still there in such a good condition. CRUCIFIXION, MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE No problem. Only people who don't know anything about ancient medicals and their skills are making such stupid claims. Make the homework and study e.g. Galen (129 - 216 AD) who did e.g. successfully surgeries on heads. He also successfully medicated gladiators with normally deadly injuries and he carfully studied and documented death bodies' inner and exterior anatomy. TEXTILE, POLLEN, LIMESTONE Why there should have been a problem to organise a textile from Middle Eastern? Rome was a trade centre. And that the material had to be old is a circular argument, claiming that carbon dating is certainly wrong. Pollen, limestone etc. from the area of Isreal is quite normal if the linen was produced and/or stored there sometimes in April and a forger bought it either on a market in Rome or the person travelled to the ancient Israel in April to buy it. Most forgers are geniouses and no uneducated fools? IMAGE CREATION What is the problem here? Forgers were and are intelligent geniouses. They didn't and don't share/report their secrets. Still there is lost ancient knowledge. And that there is NOT ANY DISTORTION on the 2D image is the best evidence that Jesus was not wrapped in something like the Shroud. Also folds, overlappings and wavy areas must be visible on the image - it is not. And no shadings of the bodys' sides and heads' top. SPICES Shroud apostles/believers always omits the scientific results regarding spices because it is a huge problem for Sindonology to explain the regarding biblical account. The Shroud must be full of traces/stains - like claimed for blood - but STURP (Shroud Of Turin Project) report even emphasised that there was/is nothing. BIBLICAL ACCOUNT My above claims are not more or less worth than the regarding Sindonology arguments because the majority cannot verify/countercheck it - believe or believe not. One brief clarification for the good of the order. When I was evaluating myself - at the 49+ min mark I said 73 AD, the Jerusalem Temple fell in 70AD. The Jewish fortress of Masada fell in 73AD. So I include this edit to make sure you have the correct facts.

The image itself is a severe scientific reason to doubt. How an alleged unknown radiation/flash/energy could create such an undistorted 2D image projection? # There is no shading of the bodys' sides and the top of the head? # Also the contact-distance pattern of the backside doesn't correspond the forensic pattern of a dead body lying e.g. on a plate. # Folds, overlappings and wavy areas are inevitable. This must be visible on the Shrouds' image, but there is nothing like that. # Also the about 32 kg spices must have had an influence.

@@wipo3654 It has been pointed out by several Shroud scientists that the reason for the lack of any distortion is because the body was perfectly still in that carefully wrapped Shroud. And if the cloth collapsed due to gravity, then every point fell directly toward the center of the earth, resulting in this near-perfect alignment.

Thank you making this interview episode. Spokesperson of the shroud, who was a camera man with the scientist who studied the Lord’s shroud. Passed away recently. Bible mentions shroud few times. I’m sure Apostles showed shroud as an evidence of Jesus Christ did raise from dead. While spreading Gospel. Our lives are very short here on earth. Our Heavenly Father gave His Son. So we would have home in Heaven with Him. By God’s grace we are saved, but each of us have to believe Jesus Christ is Son of living true God. He’s not another man made god of thousands gods. He is God of Gods, Lord of Lords. If we don’t accept that. We are lost forever. In The Lake of Fire. That God has prepared for His enemies, Satan and his fallen spirits. Today door of salvation is open. Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and don’t sin no more. He will forgive your sins. If you ask Now. Tomorrow it maybe too late. We don’t know when the Lord comes, as we don’t know when we take our last breath.

Hos beard was only partially plucked out as the image on the shroud shows the vee shape of it.I have the scars of crucifixion in the right side of my body. An ax injury to my right foot, an appendectomy scar on my right side and a football and meat cutter injury in my right hand.

The shroud was not "wrapped" around and around the body. It was laid on theshroud and then tented, tarped, or spread over the head and torso and feet, so that it covered His entire body like a sheet ona bed. The Scripture Rightly read avers this. Any opposition to the reality of The Shroud of Jesus is false .

The "rapture" , a falsely construed, non- Scriptural term, is not an in-time, "historical event". As typed by the antediluvian " Enoch", the "taking away", has been " happening" 24/7/365 . His "rapture" is mentioned in the 24th verse of Genesis Chapter 5, he was the 7th from Adam, and he was 365 yrs. old when God took him. Now, His Spirit, Christ In Him was ascended, not his vile, human , flesh body! No man has ever ascended to Heaven's Glory, not Enoch, or Elijah , or Peter, Paul or Mary, except the Son of man Jesus as The Christ, Who is in Heaven , The Omnipresent Reality of the Eternally Infinite Here and Now!

Amen to Jean Smith szuu excellent Reply. There is no physical "rapture" or resurrection. Even the True Creation Genesis 1:-3 of HeavenEarth is Pure Spirit not matter. "Man" in Genesis 1:26 is Another Spirit, not "Adam". After Genesis 1:31-2:3 it is all an illusion. There is no generated world of time, place space or bodies of mortal matter.

Read Corinthians 15 and you will see that Paul wrote about an "immortal/heavenly/spiritual BODY" and not about an "immortal/heavenly/spiritual SPIRIT". @@TheGraciousGuest Unless one has a thorough understanding of the process of obtaining the data, one is hardly qualified to present the data. Even less so to interpret it. I'm an organic chemist. And I wouldn't dream of trying to explain the many areas of organic chemistry that I'm not very familiar with. This means having extensive hands on experience with. I can explain the particular area of chemistry I'm an expert in to a non-expert or to an expert. No problem! Would I present myself as an authority in other areas of science which I have even less understanding of? Nope! Not a chance. So, in which areas of science is this teacher an expert?
