The new clarinet player stopped being scared long enough to play. Good for her. I'll watch for her smile te next time I see the band on You Tube.

The Mito Girls delight us year after year with their performances and my only criticism of this one is that it wasn't long enough LOL! My eye was caught and my heart went out to the diminutive clarinetist ( at 2:05 and 34:00) obviously a junior and there for experience, looking a little overwhelmed at first but happily smiling at the end. I look forward to seeing her and her fellow Juniors blossom over the next year or two - Super Performance - BRAVO MITO !!!

wow ! what a great video of these girls ,it should serve as a great memory of youth ,imagine when you grow up to be able to go back to this memory, yes i especially liked that young clarinet player who will later on lose her fear ,.. as i said before , this is a fantastic video for them to treasure forever

A great video, Mikan. A new band for me, this. Not a large band, but certainly full of character, fun, and talent. And at least one first year (if I've judged the uniform aright) full of the performer's spirit, at mk 47:23.

Another GREAT performance from Mito !!! 👍🏻👍🏻 Under new direction but still masterful and accomplished musicians all. And no music sheets to read from. Bravo. 👏👏👏 !!!!!!!!
I really felt sorry for the little clarinet player, she looked petrified, all alone ,everyone ignoring her and not even talking to her so im sending her all the hugs and encouragement I can to help her over her shyness and tell her she is as good as all the others

This Mito Girl's High School band is one of my favorites. They always put on a great performance & I noticed that they have a new Music director here. Thanks to all the young ladies here, for their performance and thank you Mikan , for sharing this video / event. Also, @34:14 , I believe she's a 1st year in the school, kawaii and hang in there, okay.

If you listened to these performances with your eyes closed, you could be forgiven for thinking you were listening to an adult professional concert orchestra sitting with their music scores on stands and not just a children's band playing entirely by ear. Or would it be more politically correct to call them young adults because they do not behave like children? I love to hear them.

he's moved to a new online school nearby and is starting a new band, but with only a dozen members it will take time to establish it.but being one of the best music teachers in japan it will surely triumph

The inside of the building itself looks seriously EPIC by itself. lol. ...let it sink in that most of them inside the complex are going to become epic women someday. I've got nothing but love for the Japanese. I hope I never live to see us having to war against them. There's only pretty old historical information about such a horrible time, it needs to stay that way. :D

I think our American students could learn something from these students about self discipline and dedication to personal goals. Don't hate on me it's just my opinion.
