Shubh Maharaj Was born in 1987 in a musical family of tabla maestro Pt. Kishan Maharaj as his grandson. His father Pt. Vijay Shankar is a renowned kathak dancer, naturally Shubh got music in his blood by his both families. From a very young age Shubh used to thump mini tabla sets and because of that he was trained under the guidance of his maternal grand father Pt Kishan Maharaj from a very tender age.
