Shreya Ghoshal hasn't sung in his first composed soundtrack 'Guzaarish'. Shubhankar, I have noticed one thing about u.. U always underrate Shreya Ghoshal.. Why?? U should do some research before saying anything.. Shreya is the only artist from the pre digital era in the most streamed artists list. She has 35.3 million+ monthly listeners on Spotify.. 2nd most among singers and 3rd most overall. Irreplaceable even after 22 years is a HUGE thing and this not coz her name is big but her talent is unparalleled❤ U seem to be totally unaware of Shreya Ghoshal's Discography. She gave 10+ hit songs last year. And 45+ good songs which deserved hype❤ Guli mata, Bolo na, Zihaal e miskin etc were in 2023 only. She started 2024 with a bang yimmy yimmy, Chaudhavi Shab, Dheeme Dheeme, Madhurama Kadha r still trending. Most importantly she is a composer's dream.. As Salim Merchant said, "Whenever i work with Shreya, I feel closer to my art". She is an inspiration for every singer in India today. So SLB×Shreya is a GOATed combo doesn't mean she isn't working with others. Acknowledge female artists more🙏 Just because Arijit is ur fav doesn't mean u'll not talk about others. When u talked about favorism u didn't talk about Pritam - Arijit why?? He literally let Arijit sing whole album and that's clear favorism. Shreya ke ek se do gaane aate h SLB ki movies me. He always launches at least one new voice with every project. She is launched by SLB and she is the best today that's why she gets the songs but her career is not defined by him only. His films come every 4-5 year but Shreya has too many hit songs other than his songs. She has constantly worked with good music directors like Pritam, SEL, AR Rahman, Salim-Sulaiman etc just coz she delivers what is needed. As AR Rahman recently said he wanted Shreya to sing 'Tu kya Jaane' but Shreya wasn't available that's why Yashika sang it. This happened because he knows Shreya can uplift a melody way higher and can deliver it beautifully.

But for last two decades, Arijit Singh is there only pre dominantly..this is also monopoly...Pritam gives his 99% good song to him only...and also the lyricist is Amitabh Bhattacharya. But before that, there was sonu, shaan , kk, mohit, javed ali, sukhwinder singh, hariharan, rup kumar rathod, Shreya Ghoshal, sunishi, alka yagnik, kavita Krishnamurthy, Anuradha Paudwal and soo many others. It was not a monopoly back then. And so many music directors and lyricist.

She was the only female in top Spotify streams. How can you say that only sing for SLB and is she relevent today? Bro, do some research before saying something like this. One of the best interviews I have seen till date!! Hats off to Subhankar for his excellent bouquet of questions (it must have taken him a lot of hard work to even frame them) but Antara was simply outstanding with her answers. She was very grounded and came across as a highly balanced person. Each and every answer of hers was reasoned perfectly and did not carry any rancor -perhaps because of her humble background. Mark my words -she will go a long way. God Bless her.

Liked the straight forward presentation of Antara, though I knew her first from your podcast. Actually I being of sixty three hardly I hear current song except those having good lyrics with good music composition. I also learnt that she also has such choice in fact,may be due to being a daughter of music teacher.
