I bought this unit about ten years ago. We used it about twice a year our home games since then. Although a good conversation piece and it does shuffle cards, it jams several times at every single game we ever had. About four years ago I called the company and they said to send it in for a rebuild for a charge of $100 plus shipping. I did. Although a little better is jams several times per sitting. BTW, we have always used the recommended Copag cards (which have been perfect and are almost like new after ten years). The unit started acting up recently so I contacted Shuffle Tech directly. They had zero interest in helping, stating that the unit was too old for service. They never even took a second to ask what was wrong. Only offering 10% off a new unit. That is freaking mind-numbingly fraudulent, in my eye. So my unit is a brick and there is a ridiculous hole in my custom made poker table. I'm sorry I ever paid my hard earned money for this way over-priced brick.

Dang! Sorry to hear that experience with it. Definitely good to let anyone else coming across this video know, especially if they are looking to buy an older used unit. I know they look the same pretty much but wonder if some internal enhancements were made over the years to help with the jamming problems.

yes - it works well stand alone. might be a bit louder but probably not by much. to install in a table took an extra kit. There is a button on the shuffler that sets it as top loading. So it's flexible and you're good to go without installing in your table.

I bought my table for 800dollars but theres no hole in the middle to install this. Do i have to cut open a hole myself or did ur table come with the hole to add this on

I bought mine with cutout but, you can do it after the fact. Shuffle Tech has an insert that goes along with it so you can add it later on your own with some tools (router or jig saw)

Two questions, how noisy is the unit while playing? And about your table I like it a lot, but is the chip seat just wasted space? If you don't get a dealer and just alternate. Thanks

Playing later this week so I'll do a video with a sound meter and post it. If someone gets knocked out and doesn't want back in, they'll often deal. It's nice to have the chips handy regardless but I get your point. Keeps me from being crowded by someone because I always sit to the left of it lol.

Got mine on BBO Poker as part of the table. You can buy separately from ShuffleTech and maybe some authorized dealers as well

You can still hear it liudly with music, unless youre blsting music straight into peoples ears. Most games ive played people dont want music blaring

It's the X2 mini from BBO poker. I don't think they make that specific model any more though.

With that table top that came with it we have occasionally eaten on it. Never on the felt itself though :). There's a bar right by it for eating.
