I feel ya! I'm 56 and am still crazy on the dance floor, but it is harder to learn new steps - but keep at it because it's great fitness and great for our aging brains? (What's my name again?)

Thanks Emylee for breaking these steps down because you explain and demonstrate them so much better than some videos I've seen ( and no offense to the others because everyone learns differently and there still good) i just like how your video is so easy to understand and thank you for this because I've always wanted to learn how to do the new age shuffling and thanks i can't wait to start practicing yes! Good luck to everyone and God Bless all

You are the best. I'm studying and learning running man just before my 73rd birthday. If I keep my hand on a wall to. keep my balance, I can do it! And my balance is getting better and better. In a week there will be no wall. This is hugely fun for somebody my age, which is why I've undertaken this challenge. Just as a note to my juniors--. Your early 70's means you are young, really. Most people don't know this about your 70's. My brother is 76, has one leg, and still wins. national canoe races.

I've been doing the moonwalk and walking sideways since I was probably about 3or4 yrs old, and by the way, I'm a year older than Michael Jackson, so long before anyone saw him do it. My uncle taught me actually. But I never cared to for the Running Man,... until it became this shuffle. It's a blast... except I'm 64 now with terrible health problems and can barely balance myself anymore. Although I still dance on occasion, but usually with a cane or holding onto something next to me for stability. But the raw talent never left, and I'm still da bomb. Still seriously good and keeping up with the dances from around the world. Keep me young at heart 💜

Some of the basics to this I was doing in the 90s in Nighclubs, the Running Man for sure, there was also a criss cross variant where one leg would cros infront of the other and back again, and also the backwards running man. One of the best dance track of the time for this was Rythm Device's 'Acid Rock' and also LFO, the amount of contortion the body would do dancing to LFO is insane, sucha good track to just let the body flow.
