I was so young when I first heard this. My sister would have this song in her playlist whenever I came home from school I would hear it playing in the next room. Years pass by and I'm humming this song from elementary to middle school all the way till highschool. I really couldn't point out where the song came from or even knew the name of it at all. It haunted me for years and years and it has always been a song that's pops into my mind when I shower. I would spend a stupid amount of hours on the internet looking for it on my free time whenever my memories remind me that this song exists. Sometimes I wondered if it was a false memory all along. Today I hummed the song and my phone found it!!! I'm 23 and I'm gladly listening to this banger.

Shugo Chara became popular when I was in middle school. I had a few volumes of the manga and got teased endlessly for liking anime and manga. I never finished the series. This song has a weird, painful nostalgia for me. It reminds me of the escapism anime gave me during one of the most difficult times of my life. I hardly read manga or watch anime anymore, but I cherish 2000's "otaku" internet culture for being home to me while I was a misfit in real life.

this was the first ever anime i watched, it was amazing and one of my favorites (still is tbh) i remember watching it years ago when i was like 8 or so, i was just a smol little boy looking for new shows to watch, then i found this and it opened the world of anime to me, i feel in love with anime and am now a 18 (as of today) year old mega otaku whos seen so many different anime's but even though ive seen so many different ones Shugo Chara (and High School Host Club) will always be my all time favorite!

This is so nostalgic. I remember watching this when I was in highschool. I even drew my own kyara 😅 I think I drew about 3-4 before.
