I stumbled on this a couple years ago. I still get chills when I watch the video and read the text. One of the most persecuted religions and they ask for blessings for all, not just for themselves. To my way of thinking, they are a blessed people. To have suffered so much, yet they still ask our Lord to include everyone, even those of us outside their faith.
The most beautifully performance of Avinu Malkeinu I have ever heard. Shulem’s voice is pure and angelic. ❤️

Respectfully I have translated the lyric to Spanish.

Hi, May I ask when you mention Rabbis. I am interested to know Were Jewish from paternal or maternal side?
@Hels_Angels3 жыл бұрын
hdonstraight No problem 😀 From the maternal side I am descended from Rabbi Gottlieb Metz or rather, his youngest son Sekhel Amschel. However, around 1820 Sekhel fell in love with a Christian girl and converted to Catholicism. He changed his name to Carl August and became a successful lawyer later on. His son August, also a lawyer, played an active role in the March Revolution of 1848 and was a big name in Hessian politics. Have a great day! 👋🏼👩🏼🌸

Anthony David Too late for what? If you mean, not too late to be interested in Jewish culture, then you’re right. In my maternal family, Judaism was always a big deal and I grew up knowing more about the Jewish than the Christian religion. Especially my mum was totally into Judaism and our house was filled with beautiful Torah editions, Menorahs and such. Which is funny because my evangelical father was extremely interested in Protestantism, the life of Martin Luther, Calvinism etc. Then there are East Orthodox members in the Russian family branch, and I myself am Armenian Catholic 😅😇 Best thing is, there never were any religious controversies in our family! 😁👍 Have a great day 👋🏼👩🏼☀️
