SHUNTING a DELTIC around the Yard ! 55009 moved around GCR Loughborough Yard with 13101 & 37714

See 'Alycidon' shunting back and forth with some help from 13101 at Great Central Railway Loughborough. The immaculate 37714 is also present and looking great albeit as a side-show to the mighty Deltic.

Hiya... excellent video... why did they shunt the Deltic like that? as far as I could see, surely it could have just pulled forward off of the train it brought in and then just reversed back to the platform after the train it brought in had pulled out instead of going through the rigmarol of doing those shunting moves.

Hi James, it was heading the same stock back out to Leicester so hence the moves.
