Wow, it’s been years since I got a video from this channel! It’s so cool. You’re still going for it! Great review by the way.

You're not a child, you're a normal dude. I was chuckling, too, thinking the exact same thing. Nice, thorough review, btw.

If Samson would do an updated USB C version of the Go Mic and the Q2u it would be game over in the sub $50 range.

The MV6 is almost shockingly disappointing for me. Kind of.. almost upsettingly bright? Podmic-esque, almost? It needs a little bit of lowend presence, and a little bit less treble. Shame, cause the build definitely looks nice and capacitive mute is also very cool. The 150hz highpass is way too aggressive IMO, 75 is better but still not great with the tone, but the denoiser is OK, even if I feel it alters the tone a little. The plosive option makes the plosives feel almost painful to me? The MV6 would sound bad on me (the sE V2 is already a bit of a tough fit for my voice as-is). For $150 I guess it's not too bad, but you can spend a lot less for a Q2u, or spend a bit more for a Procaster if you're running XLR.

Would you do a review of the Beacn mic?

I don't think high pass filter really worked. It did remove something but I have a feeling that it wasn't the low. More like... mid-low? IDK, I can't be trusted on that.

Hey Bandrew, I was hoping you'd make this video! Awesome. In the realm of USB mics, would you be willing to make a video on the BEACN microphone? I'd love to hear your take on it.

The shock rejection and handling noise are pretty terrible and I don't think it's that great of a sound, but I am impressed by the denoiser and the popper stopper. Those seemed to work pretty well without totally destroying the sound.

I think for close mic applications (the application it was designed for) it sounds…fine

I'm wondering If I should get a Shure SM58 with an audio interface or just get the Shure MV7+ and use it with USB. What would you recommend? Or is there another microphone that really beats both of these?

People rave about the Earthworks Icon. I’m personally quite happy with the Fifine AM8 when I just need to get on a conference call or do a quick voiceover.

I don't really comment on videos but man, is this really a Shure mic? Why does it sound so artificial and processed? Maybe it's just my "gaming" headphones but this just sounds bad... I would get tired if I had to listen to someone speak through this microphone all day. Also how is this a "Gaming" mic and they included no shock rejection in the default mounting option? The Q2u and even the FiFine sounded so much better to my ears while being half the price. Even the DSP processing doesn't save it for me purely because of the tone of the microphone that you can't adjust other than that slider (which doesn't fix my gripes with it at all). At least the poper stopper actually did the job from the sound of it but are you really going to need it if you're using that stand they provided? The whole package seems pretty disappointing to me.

Wow this feels like you’re reviewing a $35 Chinese usb mic. Bad tone, doesn’t reject handling noise, just seems like a cheap product in general.

To my ears this mic was the worst of the bunch! I hear metallic/digital processing instead of natural clear sound! Shure, I expected better sound from your brand!
