I use this while practicing drums. Amazing sound isolation in unisolated room and I can also hear metronome or backing track very clearly. If you start using these, your ears will thank you.

I have been using the same se215s for 10 years now!! The only week point is the cable, but at least its replaceable..oh and im pretty shure mine was not kevlar covered or gold plated!

Very natural . Very clear. Zero destortion. Highs has all the information and zero harshness unlike sennheizer . Shure has a Warm inviting sound signature and the SE 215 also. It sounds like it is made by pros While Sony , Boss , Sennheizer ..sound like toys. As a test taking the volum higher and there is zero distortion in the Shures yet if you do it in Sennheiser you"ll notice distortion like it is a toy. Trust me. I have the Aonic 215 after having sennheiser and I"ll never ever look back to Sennheiser. Night and day difference. Get the Shure se 225/ Aonic 215 and trust me you will make a Tidal registration very soon to hear all the goodness. Bass is real and warm . Vocals are fantastic . highs are accurate and not ringing harshly. It even has a spatial sound like you can feel the echo in the voices though such a small earbuds ; that is how vocals are so good . Also seperation is very very very good. You can't get this things from Sennheiser since it isn't there. I think regarding heaphones and earbuds Shure is the place to go for those that come from HiFi and want musicality and audiophile sound . You will notice the difference between shure and the Others - TRUST ME ON THAT.❤❤ That is quality staff ❤❤

Today I had the opportunity to test these IEMs (transparent version) for the first time. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the very weak bass, or in fact it is inaudible at all :( apart from that, the rest of the sound is kind of muffled, too quiet. I tested it on the phone (via the Fiio KA1 DAC) and through the headphone output of the Creative sound card in the PC.

My son gave me his old one's and I was happily surprised how good they were, I was just using Skull Candy Ink'd to play my drums at home for year's but now I'll be a Shure user. Unfortunately his old 215's were heavily used as he's a worship guitarist who plays every Sunday plus he helps his friends at their church's so they are on the fritz now and I'll need to get a brand new pair

I bought these on your recommendation - unfortunately not only were they defective with a loose connection on the left channel, but I could not get them to fit comfortably. The fitting is finicky, difficult and they don’t stay in the ears nicely.

Why dont they come with a converter from 3.5 to 6.3mm jack ? No mixers have a 3.5mm jack input.

I think the ones I have must be broken, there is no bass response at all, sounds like there is a hi pass filter around 5-600Hz. They are also very uncomfortable as the plastic that goes around the ear is hardly flexible, therefore not conforming to the shape of my ear. If I move my head at all, they fall out regardless of which size/material ear piece I use so I have to wear a beanie. As a drummer, this is far from ideal. I don't have much to compare them to since these are the only IEMs I've owned, so perhaps this is just standard for IEMs, but I feel like I got a bad deal, and they were gifted to me lol.

There are a lot of fake versions of these out in the wild and they are very hard to distinguish from the real ones. That said, the frequency tuning of the real ones could still be a lot better IMO, but with the right eartip fit they shouldn’t be lacking in bass unless you’re looking for hyped bass.

i had them and in my opinion they realy didnt serve me good on stage. No bass, didnt seal good with the memory foam piece when jumping on stage so i got the 425 and it was not much bether so i ended going for custom IEMs , got the UE 11 Pro with the ambient add on and oh boy finaly i was having fun on stage. I know, they are like 8 times the price but if i took a look at the whole signal chain that would be the last point to look at to save somme money.

BEWARE that if you need to replace an ear bud, they are REVERSED! Left is right and right is left. I ordered a supposed "Shure SE215-CL-Left Single". It was for the right ear. Now, I have two right earbuds. Have to spend another $50.

I have tried 112,215,345,535. 112 for musicians no. 215 for musicians yea but be careful not to let your system push too much bass because they’ll get wrecked. They can’t handle it. 300 series Shure headphones were not good for me at all. I really didn’t like them. Not even a little bit. 535 for musicians. Yes and no. It will take a lot of bass. Having said that it takes a lot of volume to hear the bass. So not great for regular use.

They are worth 20 dollars. The 7hz zero sounds like 10 times better and simgot ew200 sounds 50 times better and if we compare against the Simgot ea500lm... hallelujah

I would agree! They have more clarity! I love them both. I’ve had the 215’s for over 10 years and they’re still kicking.
