The SM7B sounds very crude compared to either Earthworks, but the Earthworks mics have the kind of freakish top end detail that IMO doesn't flatter anyone except the most skilled speakers with trained, deep voices and fluent articulation.

@@kimwirzenius9955 I agree. The Ethos is quite balanced though, with a fat lowend. Icon pro definitely suffers from sibilance in comparison.

Meh, I much prefer the sound of the Neumann BCM compared to any of these.
