Shurflo 8000 Series Pump Service

Hey guys....thought I would ask here as I am having trouble findinding info. I have a coulple of Shurflo 9325 submersible pumps. I am having issues with water getting into the motor canister. Same install location. I even changed the wire boot. Seems weird.

My pump is spraying water then shuts off any ideas what it could be I leave it for a bit then it comes back on tried everything I can think of a bit of advice would be great before I go buy a new pump just in case it something simple.

Shurflo's pressure switches seem to be very weak. Mine failed and the rest of the pump is good. I see a lot of youtuber videos on how to repair their switches.

Toss the switch and plumb in a 110v booster pump pressure switch. Way more reliable. Got sick of fixing mine.

Here's a question for ya. I am trying to replace the pressure switch on a surflo 8000-543-936 water pump. I got the new one in and when I put it on the long screw has stripped and will not catch hold. What can I do to fix this?

Ok I just followed everything you did. Now the pump runs but no water is coming out of the spray wand?

Hi CT Home Solutions - there could be a number of reasons why the pump is shorting. I suggest that you look at Shurflos trouble shooting PDF found here: www.pentair.com/content/dam/extranet/flow/manuals/shurflo/industrial/911-314.pdf. Let me know if this helped.
