Which card or relic was MVP this run? Comment below!
@elcanovas832 жыл бұрын
Hi, for the relics i think the base relic AND the backpack relic where really good on this run, 9 card at the beginning of every first turn is insane. For the cards , the two caltrop+ where the mvp for the last boss but for the whole run the blur strat was mvp. Love ur vids and gg

The mvp was the missed strike on the jawworm

I agree that bag of prep plus double backstab was the core of the run. Effectively making easy mode out of multi enemy battles and allowing you to exploit the power of blackstar to accumulate a good set of relics. You wouldn't have gotten prayer wheel without it and you wouldn't have found the caltrops without the prayer wheel

Barricade is an upfront purchase, blurricade is a subscription model. Costs less in short fights, costs more in long fights

But every time you pay for blur you also get some block on top.

I’ve been playing spire since early access but was somehow never recommended your videos until recently. Love hearing some of your perspectives they’ve helped me reevaluate a lot of my choices even all this time later.

Funny enough I did have a buying upgraded terror situation a little bit ago. Act 3 last few floors had a shop with upgraded terror. I didn’t have red key yet so I couldn’t upgrade it at the campfire and had like 500 gold. Bought the upgrade and sold the old one because my deck didn’t have much fat. Felt like a brainiac and then lost to the heart.

I found your piloting here both confusing and then enlightening. Especially in the Maw fight (around 1:00 hour mark), you kept leaving energy on the table and 0-cost escape plans dead in hand in order to preserve the draw from the pocket watch. I don't think I would have had the same discipline. Good stuff. Thanks for the video.

At the beginning of the run, Baalorlord explains why it's a bad idea to remove two strikes, rather than remove one strike and one defend. What about removing two defends? Silent's starting deck is already defensive (Neutralize and Survivor), and has lots of defend+ type cards (Backflip, Blur, Dodge and Roll, etc.).
@jonjones50922 жыл бұрын
Depends on the act boss whether it's preferred but you can totally remove 2 defends first. Slime boss in particular might make that your best choice. It makes act 2 pretty rude sometimes though.

I think slime boss in act 1 is the easiest boss in the game.. I do lose to him sometimes but not nearly like any of the others.. although the donut and diamond bosses are the easiest ones in the game for sure.. lol they do literally nothing I’ve never lost to them I’m the final act..
@naphackDT2 жыл бұрын
You rarely die to those act 3 bosses because if you have a deck you know can't beat them, you will take risky paths trying to improve the deck and die on the way.

He said here that he doesnt like the boss swap on silent much and i know ive heard him say he really likes the boss swap for silent in a past video...
@michaelclarkj4 ай бұрын
I’ve heard him say he likes boss swap against slime boss as the added draw on turn 1 isn’t as necessary to achieving a timely split, but it sounds like even after months of Silent he’s still experimenting with the boss swap.
