I hadn't known about the card edges being different, but when he was pointing that out, I did notice on Well-Laid Plans that the top right edge has some fading as if it's been thumbed on over and over. That would be the place it would wear out from being taken from your hand.

Why no one is talking about Riddle with Holes? It was very good since the moment of strike transfomed into it. Even not upgraded. Worked twice hard for itself and for missing Finisher. Got Envenom, Terror, phantasmal, shuriken and boot support. Book of stabbing every day prefferable pick, if could ask it!

A bit late, but I had her on A17 before I upgraded my PS4 to PS5 and lost the data. I think the second highest characters were clad and watcher at A12 or something, defect wasn't even A10 (unpopular opinion, I just don't find him that fun).

Any multihit can do a lot with this combo, even Riddle with Holes is an option in a pinch.

This year's challenge is very tough. Do you think it's possible to get it before the year is up, or are you going into next year until you get it? I've gotten into the habit of reading the video description, and every time, I hope to see a bigger number. Best of luck (and skill) in future runs.

Baalor does not expect to actually complete the challenge with any character (though Watcher in particular might happen). He just wants to give it his best shot and learn the characters more deeply than rotating runs allow him to.

He actually says it in the video (although it is easy to miss) that he preferred to do 5 damage to both with letter opener, so it was not an oversight.

I always thought Envenom should work with Caltrops / Bronze Scales. It would be a small buff to an underpowered card that would make some interesting builds.

Caltrops isnt underpowered, it is situational. Upgraded it kills birds on it own, and does 75 damage to the heart whenever it multi attacks. That is in no way underpowered, it is insane damage to enemies that do multi attacks with high amount of hits. Especially against the heart caltrops is bonkers. 1 energy for atleast 80-160, probably like 240-320 damage if you draw it early enough, all without needing any other cards to be played with it to achieve that damage, you only need to survive hits.

1:42:13 choosing warpaint over sling of courage is a real warcrime here. with terror and phantasmal killer in play, that's 6 more damage PER HIT for flechettes and riddle with holes - so 30 more damage from riddle with holes, and up to 9x6= 54 (!!!) more damage with flechettes...

Thought that too, but there's a good argument towards War Paint. We already have enough damage, checked by Transient. What can lose the run is lack of block, or bad draw-order (=not enough card-draw). Both of that is fixed by upgrading skills, since skills are Block and Card-Draw.
