@arkay2400 - over the years, "we the people" have inflated their egos, referring to them as heros, etc - leading many in government, service workers, as well as those in "healthcare", to believe they are heros - when in reality, they are not. I was raised to "respect" those in any type of uniform - especially with a large number of family and friends in military, as well as LEOS. Over time, especially with the advent of the availability of most having cameras on their phones, "we the people" began to witness more accountability and substantiate that few are actual heroes. "We the people" created the monster, and is up to "we the people" to go about doing what can be done to turn that around. Nobody said it would be easy. How does one eat an elephant? One bite at a time. It will take many learning what "rights" really are, be willing to stand for them, knowing there will more than likely be events take place that may not go as hoped for. Starts someplace - and starting is usually the hardest part to anything. 👍

The point sir is that it's our right to record in a public place. It's an exercise of rights and this is also how we hold public officials accountable by providing transparency. She is standing up for not only her rights, but everyone else who fought and died for these rights. She is an American and fighting for WE THE PEOPLE! She's on assignment! The DMV decided to stop services, not the person recording. The officer who said he was involved in Federal lawsuits before, this will be one of the many for him coming his way, since he doesn't know the law or the constitution. He has just facilated an unlawful trespass from the DMV to JTOWN which violated her civil rights and just put his qualified immunity at risk. Only the truly ignorant tyrants will actually threaten arrest in this type of situation. Those are the bad officers that the people will no longer put up with. How do these cops not know this stuff by now? Shame on them. Great work, Lana! Keep standing up for our rights. 👍
