This brings back a few memories! I was responsible for looking after our family pool when I lived at home, and my routine was pretty much the same as yours, but I always stored the roll of the summer cover in the garage. Our cat loved the winter cover, because I drained a bit more than you did, the winter cover didn’t dip down into the water when the cat walked on it. On the occasional sunny day you could find him curled up asleep in the middle of the cover where the dog couldn’t get to him! Nice job 👍

Interesting, I always figured one would just drain the pool during the winter. This method you displayed seems like a great cost saver in the long run.

It’s so nice when a customer doesn’t want their pool surrounded by something straight out of a horror movie and they have clean slabs. I will never understand going to the trouble of having a pool in this country then maintaining it only to leave the slabs around it looking filthy.

I will never understand why go through the trouble of building such a big pool that takes up most of your garden in a country like England that sees hot weather every blue moon 😭 Why?? A jacuzzi is honestly all UK residents need. This guy does a good job he should move to America like Cali or Florida & make money there where owning a pool make sense …..

you must get some very cold winters we just dump the sand filter and open the pipe fittings on a couple blow out the water with air and purge water to the skimmer with air and a towel then dump in RV winterizer so if it rains and fills up the freeze point will be 10 degrees and it never gets that cold here
