When you stood back on your big deck It seemed you could go until home in shuvits 😀 Also, loved the (maybe-not-intentional) inclusion of the cat. As you saw I did the same so I think it must be a trend from now.

@@boardtrippin yeah my old deck just feels so comfortable, but it's what I'm used to. Haha that's Helga, I think she wanted feeding, she always wants feeding 😭

Crushing the mini mate, was awesome to skate it with you Monday. You’ve made awesome progress with it and the shuvs are locked in as well.

@@KieranClarkSkates thanks mate, this week's session out next week 😄 I actually had an awesome second session there yesterday got loads more shuvs and even a 5.0 on the ride on grind (baby rail though)

The bigger board seems to work better for you, well at least for the shuvs! Overall your progress is insane, you look so much more confident especially on the mini!

You are dialing in a lot of tricks there. Doing really well. I have been skating for years and can only do about 5 tricks😁. I was at Ramp1 this morning and was the only person in there.
@DadLeisureSkateboarding9 күн бұрын
Yeah but you do those tricks really well on bigger ramps than I dare to try yet! Ahh that's cool I love day time ramp1! Nice if there's 1 or 2 people to chat and skate with but can't have it all haha

I was going to challenge you to a shuv-it off in the summer but I realised by the time I learn them, you'll be even further ahead. Also, at 8:15 how is that window not broken yet?
@DadLeisureSkateboarding9 күн бұрын
The shuvit challenge is available for anyone to take on! Current record is still 10, gonna take some beating! Haha those windows have re-inforced Perspex glass in-front of them but I have thought the same in the past!

You're doing great on the shuv its. With the new deck it may not be the deck and the size that was an issue, it could have been the new grip sticking to your feet more and in turn making it flip as you try it. I think maybe you should give the shuvs a week off and just wear the board in. A break from the shuvs could be also good just in general. I feel you're putting a lot of pressure on yourself each week with the shuvs.
