A woman who has depended on men all her life is celebrated for her independence. Shweta, without her Father and her husband (ex?) Is irrelevant. Navya is sweet but neither are interview worthy.

The Bachchans come across as a very problematic and highly chauvinistic family somehow - This all looks so severely sugar coated - Agreed Navya can be the new crop of the generation more robust, independent and honest- I heard her podcast - But the Shweta, Abhishek are severely prim and proper - they DONT seem very honest somehow - they are all so guarded - you don’t know what their true layer looks like because the Answers are so so perfect. Same with Aishwarya- Another problematic approach is that the bahu is nowhere in the limelight and the daughters are everywhere - Is there some restriction over Aishwarya- The family candidly talks abt the whole family minus Aishwarya constantly-

Wow! These comments are not good. Im going to applaud these two women. Yes, yes, the award can go to others, but they are bringing OTHERS' plight to the fore using the Bachan name and priviledges that you all speak of and are cursing about! 🤦‍♀️🙏💛 I think that regardless of these ladies privilege they are at heart, getting a very very serious subject like menstruation out there into the public in India where there is so little education and acceptance of women and all of the states that women go through. They were both very moved by Aisha you could see the expression on Shweta's face how pained she felt for her 🙏💛and you also saw her proud expression that Navya is at least with all her privilege and upbringing entering this very difficult Arena to try to solve and bring education to India's public about the plight of young ladies such as Aisha. That has to be applauded their privilege pales into insignificance when they are dedicated to such causes! When they could be sitting at home, doing nothing, but watch tv and paint their nails! What do you people want them to do??! Thank you to the Bachan ladies, they seemed damned if they do, and damned if they dont! Keep up the good work, and i hope they are more supported by Indians, im in the UK and love them and their passions! Wth do Barkha bring these two every now and then ? If anything , a established dad , mother who thought it was enough to get their daughter married to rich family to make her life ! Shweta keeps saying about independence , financial stability or lack of it . Ironically , she is representation of failed feminism in rich elitist society as well ! However barkha thinks their opinion is important . For what ? On how to be regressive even with all the privilege !
