Even Dilip Kumar also commented: Lata ki awaaz mein Daal Bhaat ki boo aati hai. But she created her own space. She refused to sing with Mohammed Rafi giving chance to other female singers. And still nobody could displace Lataji. And only 57 comments on the video is sufficient proof. Even Hemlataji never blamed Lataji. Instead she was in awe of Lataji, Ashaji and Ushaji (Jai Santoshi Maa).

But, business whether in market economy or in the said mixed economy is just another aspect of State authority Perhaps Lata sisters intuitively knew this mystery of political economiy and had built a good rapport with ruling Nehru family at the Centre. My favourite was Lata Mangeshkar, one in a million. Hemlata has a beautiful voice and her own style of singing. My favourite song was of Hemlata is Aakhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se. can’t compare her to Legend Lata Mangeshkar. Each singers had their own unique style of singing. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
