Agreed. Average to short guys should avoid cropped or rolled jeans and stick with slim/skinny jeans with enough length for at least one or two breaks at the ankles. Also avoid oversized tops unless you know your streetwear aesthetic and can pull it off.

The hair & eyebrow cut made a huge difference. The outfit is a huge improvement but the jeans are the wrong length & shape for him, I know the 7/8 cropped trousers are in style but they make everyone's legs look shorter, the low crotch just shorten the legs even more & it's not a staple look long-term. My lil 2cents: You should choose clothes that gives the person better body proportions. It should conceal the person's shortcoming, and needs to compliment them. For Asians and 90% of the time, the taller someone looks the better! I suggest to rely on minimalist clothes, Or Classic pieces (leather jacket, button ups, slim trousers, rock band/cool graphic tshirt, etc) Boring? yes, but it's safe and Timeless. Then pair it with some accessories that's a pop of color to the outfit, or a statement belt. It'll instantly look more interesting without being overbearing and better than a bright top. You can mix things up too; plain trouser with a cool graphic shirt. It's very simple, clean and a hint of edgy. I also notice the clothes y'all pick tend to be winter and fall clothes and it's feels stuffy seeing them wear those in sunny LA weather lol. You can be just as stylish in the summer too. A vintage looking graphic shirt is always a good choice, or those patterned short sleeve blouses that celebs like bts and harry styles wears. A more understated stylish summer shirt is a striped button up, or a notched collar button up, and Paired with black or beige trousers or straight Jeans, ripped or nonripped (ripped if you're going for a more casual look). The thing with his outfit is from the get-go the Denim on Denim is just not a easy look to pull off. Even fashionistas are hesitant to do denim on denim lmao and wear bold colors. The denim on denim is paired with a tucked in bright yellow plaid that's buttoned up to the top, that's just enhances the dorkiness and the fitting/cut is not doing his proportions any favor.
