I was asking people to sing in NYC, when I met Devanshi! A student of Purdue on her way from NYC to Indiana, she asks if she could sing an Ed Sheeran song. I ask if her song request made her think of anyone special, and although I never learn who, it became clear our audience on the street felt what Devanshi was expressing towards this mystery special person...

that couple dancing really hit me. the sheer grace and intimacy of their dance said to me that it was as natural to them as breathing and they were one. the singer absolutely crushing it helped too, because she clearly felt it in her bones. you can always hear when a singer has a piece of music in their heart

Well she's been singing 11 years she said so she's probably had quite a bit of training, which will include learning the way pop singers usually pronounce stuff. Of course you don't have to sing that way though, plenty of songs around where the singers use more natural accents, especially in less "formal" styles like folk or punk or country etc.

I found myself with tears streaming. This was so beautiful. Her voice, her friends supporting her, and the freedom of the dancers just overwhelmingly embraced my heart. I am a geek for romance.
