It was pretty cute, although I would caution people against picking up cone snails of any kind. ALL species of cone snails are venomous, and while there's only maybe about 15 species whose venom can be fatal to humans, you never know what sort of reaction someone will get to even the milder venoms if it happens to sting you.

Advice for if anyone is worried that their cat/pet has passed on. Check: Is the body warm? Is the body floppy or soft? Do they have a pulse? Are they breathing? When cats pass on they instantly become rigid and cold. Rigor mortis sets in, they are no longer breathing, and they lack a pulse.

@@richardcraft929 I still don't think so though, bc you have to be very careful with a sedated animal. Especially a *wild* sedated animal. Vet techs know to be extra careful with them bc they can be violent when coming out of sedation, out of fear. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Even domesticated animals are unpredictable in that state of mind. Anyone who's had a pet get surgery & given them aftercare has experienced this. It's hard to see them in that state, too, all scared & unsure of what's happening. 😭
