Storyline:-
YASHODHA BORKAR, a bank employee is married to ANAND BORKAR, a singer cum music director who unfortunately has not tasted any success in either field.Their only teenage son SHYAM, a first class student is studying in the eleventh standard. Yashodha wants Shyam to always come first and become a doctor for which she is always after Shyam to study all the time sacrificing everything else. GUNDAPPA, the son of MR&MRS. HEGDE, their new neighbours, who is also studying in the same class, always manages to score more marks even after indulging in sports etc. much to the annoyance of Yashodha. A bittersweet comedy which takes a close look at todays education system where new laws are made every year adding to the already existing woes of the students.

Would be great if it had subs. I have lived in Juhu forever but sadly never was a part of a circle that was Marathi speaking. I went to a nearby school named Jamnabai narsee and had a lot of friends who were Marathi but in school it was always English and Hindi. Nonetheless I am an avid bookworm and by chance happened to read a lot of translated Marathi literature recently and am absolutely in love with how talented the Marathi writers are. I've been dating a Marathi girl for the last 3 months and so now there is a real chance to learn Marathi (Not that I am dating her for this very reason😁😁😁). But I've enrolled in weekly Marathi classes in santacruz and she is also helping me out. So it would be really great if the channel adds subs coz this writer, Ashok Patole also happens to be one of my favourites. Fun Fact: Ashok Patole was the writer of my favourite 90s sitcom Shriman Shrimati.
