Fam we need to lay off of the mumble dudes. I don't jam that kind of music but they don't run labels or they ain't djs. Real rap still exists. We have under 30 rappers such as Cordae, Joey Badass, Vince Staples, Denzel Curry I dont even think Chris Rivers is 30 yet. A decade ago a new wave started with Kendrick, Jay Rock (signed before Kendrick) Big Krit, Wale, Blu, Jcole, Freddie Gibbs, Currensy, Drake, Smoke Dza, Wiz Kalifa, Mickey FactZ, Asher Roth and Big Sean. Now you still have greats now Deniro Farrar is holding it down for Charlotte, NC on the underground , while the Dababy went mainstream. Every generation has it's greats. Kendrick came in with TDE, Jcole created Dreamville with JID, EarthGang, Bas and Lute. R&b is going through a renaissance as well with HER, Lucky Daye, Anderson Paak, Mahalia, Jenna Mai, 6lack, Khalid, Jorja Smith, etc. We're in the streaming era where there's an artist for every person. I like a variety of music including Blues, Country, Rock Soul (Gary Clark Jr. ) Red Dirt (Chris Stapleton) and I guess Rap Metal is what the UK's Scxlrxd does. Great music will always exist.

I'm a day 1 Drink Champs listener, but going way back I'm a day 1 Shyheim fan. When that recent stuff happened, I wasnt happy with NORE, but after watching this I am so impressed with all parties. And Shyheim is a genious man, and he's the a man to save the future for real

I met soooo many celebrities that night...I wanted to be a rapper so bad at one time. I went to a New Year party in 2000 and had great time. I met Shyheim and smoked a blunt with him. I lost my two way pager and a stranger gave it back to me. Jerome Bettis told me he liked my shirt and Derek Fischer and Shane Mosley were talking shit with a porn star Lexington Steele. I ended up getting Shyheim's number to work on some music. I was soooooo hyped!!! We left the party with some chicks. The police pulled us over and I got locked up for a few days. When I got my property back my 2 way screen was smashed😢😢😢😳😳😢😢😢🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾

@@ocampbell1954 maybe, but a lot of the earlier rappers sold out the culture for pennies, they got rich by keeping others blind, the music industry was constructed by multiple groups, but a important group to acknowledge is the mafia and there role in structuring the business of music and why the contracts are like they are, masters and slaves was in the contract crazy

This showed Shyeim in a different light. Great guy after all, great session. Nore has the first move right, admitting his mistake, but it's ruined when he starts trying to justify the mistake, or when he brings up the apology as a compliment to himself "...because as a man". The ppl around you will say that about you whenever you apologize genuinely. Just admit you were careless, listen to Shyeim's reaction about it, accept it then that's it.
