I went there in March for 3 days of unlimited skiing. Although not my favourite ski resorts due to bad weather and not that great runs . I've never gone as a non skiier😅. I'll be going again in a week , for a short break and some trekking. Luckily I opened a bank account there as I was sure I'd be visiting many times. Looking through your vids to see things I missed last time and don't miss this time. Thanks.

We are going there on Oct2nd. Heard we are allowed only till Kombi-1 and Kombi-2 and 3 will be closed for maintenance till Nov1st. Do you have any details?

Hey, No idea about this but you can check with them beforehand , generally only the ski lifts are shut for maintenance but thats hardly for a few days

Absolutely wrong info. The station you called combi 1 is actually the base station. The station you called combi 2 is actually kkd 4. The lift you walked to from kkd4 is combi 1 and the top station is combi 2.

Hey , it will be just perfect in April cos you will still have snow on the mountains and the city gardens will be in full bloom… Even we visited in May and the weather was perfect , do still carry some winter jackets cos the weather can change quickly specially in the mountains 😊

Hey , thank you so much 😊 So November is a good time to visit Shymbulak as it just starts to snow and you may even get to see the first snowfall of the season , November end you’ll definitely get snow at Shymbulak specially on combi 2 and combi 3.

Do they have shuttle van/bus to go up top from Almaty? Because it can be costly to ride the cable car everyday if we rent AirBnB and plan to snowboarding everyday at Shymbulak.

Hey , so there are options to take a weekly pass or multiple visit passes for the cable cars , but it is still cheaper than the vans/buses as these operate only to go till the 1st level of shymbulak but to go up to combi 2 and 3 you will need to take the cable cars only

Hey , so October marks the start of winter and it does start to get cold specially at night and in the mountains , so do carry some winter wear

Yes it’s the only hotel at the top of the mountain , you can find many hotels and lodges near at combi 1 but Tenir is the only place on the top and that’s why it’s very expensive also approx 40,000 per night and always sold it specially during the winter months

Hey, Yes you can carry your own drone too and also at the top at combi 3 there are people who take your drone shots for a cost and then give you the video like the one we took

Hey , honestly there are so many coffee shops and bakeries in Almaty it’s endless , I would suggest you to check out our Instagram page and in the highlights section you’ll see all the places we visited and their tagged with location and names too it would be much easier for you to then check out what you like.. Best coffee of Almaty is at the Bowler Coffee Roasters and they have a few outlets all throughout the city , one at arbat street and one inside the green bazaar. Also do stay tuned we have many more Almaty videos coming up every Friday so you’ll get to see some more places before you travel there.. Hope this helps 😊😊

Hey , nahi I don’t think you’ll find snow in September but the weather will be very pleasant in the city and around.. You can still visit Shymbulak and maybe expect a little snow only on the top of the mountain at combi 3.

Hey, it’s approx 15,000 tenge for the drone video and you they will give you a vertical and horizontal video (for Instagram and KZbin formats) You can even negotiate with them and if you want to click some nice pictures too with a proffesional camera they do that too
