I am Samoan but I love listening to this - Miss this old school singing and pure sound that our elders and ancestors had both in Samoa and Tonga. Anyone have a translation for this please?

This kind of tongan acapella was very common everywhere you went at kava drinking especially when young men would court a young girl at her house by bringing kava for her to prepare and serve as they drank they told stories trying to impress and drank the kava she prepared.This tradition was lost as common practise after the 90s.But acapella singing like this was common while working in the bush..or going for a rugby game or a team picnic..singing tongan songs..po hiva is replaced today by blasting sound systems..another cultural loss..today these songs thankfully are still sung at kalapu faikava..the tongan kava clubs .
