She wrote breathe me the night she tried to commit suicide. She struggled with a lot of issues about herself. She still fights them today. But today she's battling those demons a bit healthier. That's why on stage she like to hide behind her hair. She can't see the audience that way. You can also hear her tell a band mate, don't be sad, just before they start playing this song. She is so creative yet so fragile. I hope her new love and marriage completes her life. Love you Sia Furler ❤️

I can't believe that I still have to explain to people who Sia is. On top of that, I am required to let them know that her "POP" songs aren't really the greatest songs she's ever created. I found her because of Chandelier. Fan of her new stuff. It's different than everything else. Took me about a day to find her older stuff. She then became my 'celebrity crush' Lolz (But really) Seems like such a fuckin cool person, quirky, bubbly, funny, kind. She seems to be the type of person any of us would want to know. Obviously, intelligent and creative. (She just so happens to be gorgeous too, and that doesn't hurt. Lolz) When she sings, though, it's surreal. I get mesmerized, just IN the music. There are so many levels of emotion, vulnerability, experience, depression, triumph, and strength. God damn. Is it possible to hear her sing Breathe Me and not feel moved? Transcendent? For me, yes. Her voice can take me out of my head, reign in the crazy, lead as a light through darkness, give hope to the forgotten, and give me something to lean on when my legs aren't very sturdy. I like a variety of music. (admittedly Pop not holding a prominent spot among my favorites. Not much appeals to me in the genre. (No content) Then, Sia writes songs, sings with an unearthly ability...... And I become a fan, instantly. Stepped away from Rap for about 20 years, been digging back in, hearing content, a message, positivity, TRUTH. Again, I connect. My main genre is metal. (NuMetal kid. It's what I grew up with) Tool will forever be in my top 5. Heart is amazing. (Ann and Nancy are also top 5, if that wasn't obvious) Chris Stapleton. Alice in Chains. (Slipknot, Mudvayne, SRV, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pantera: to round out a top 10, if anyone gives a shit. Lolz) My point is, She may be a recent find for me, but the way she sings, the voice cracks and 'imperfections' are HER sound, and only give me a deeper appreciation for her talent. Something "raw and real" in her voice, and it beats the shit out of what I thought I knew about everything. I wish we were homies or something. Lolz Very few people in this life are able to captivate, draw upon that depth of emotion, pour in pieces of themselves forged by their journey, 'bare their soul', shape it all with effort and determination, polish it with incredible talent and their love for the craft, only to end up with something profound.... Sia makes it look effortless. She is a walking testament to success after survival, and how we all, though vastly different, are united through music, through love for one another. I'm a forever fan. She is such a fuckin badass. Have a great day people! If possible, try and be good to each other and good to yourselves.
