What an amazing couple of comments we have here. This is why artists like Sia should put their stuff and individuality out there. We are who we are and that's it. We wouldn't have to "fit in" if there wasn't this fucked up stereotype to be fit in to

MoMoMyPup10 Neither do i. Pop music in general is fucking horrible plastic shit, I'm a musician and into Symphonic metal mostly but i heard Chandelier and became instantly hooked on her style. Her breathy vocals with that scratchy and husky souly style is just magic... and when she cracks her voice it's just heavenly. Scew that poser Beyoncé who couldn't write her own song without her army of writers (which includes Sia) if her life depended on it. Miss Sia kate furler is the REAL DEAL, which makes her even better is she grew up five minutes from me ;)

I know you were trying to be nice and compliment her but you basically insinuated she was ugly by saying " It doesn't matter what she looks like."
@vidjdwhite9 жыл бұрын
Not at all. She obviously doesn't fit societal culture's agenda or the views they inhibit, nor does she even try to conform to such ways of stardom through physicality credits like a lot artists do. This much is painfully obvious. Being real, honest and open about such realities does not mean you are condescending in the least. In fact, it's weak minded and/or childish to assume so. As if you are blindly seeking fault in claims even more so than the poster is seeking popular-indifferences that still prevail. Please take your dramatics elsewhere.
@vidjdwhite9 жыл бұрын
Honestly it's about a mature, multi-dimensional way of thinking. This is always the most accurate. The posters agenda said nothing of your claim. I don't want to fault you but I wonder why, if you openly admit her intentions were righteous, that you would want to kick up dirt in the first place...

It's terribly sad and beautiful at the same time, this performance. She uses the ALS hand performance even though no one other than the interviewer is gonna see it. Maybe it comes along with this music, or maybe she performs for herself, or for her dead boyfriend... and the faces she makes... I can`t not think this brings a lot of pain to her. And she is so beautiful in all of it. I watch the video with a frown and a tear trying to come out of my eye. I think I`m obsessing with Sia.

If you are any kind of creative performer you know you have to let go and be utterly vulnerable. Think about it, she's in a cold studio. There is no audience energy, it's all internally generated from her heart. She's brave and strong. You can call it "ALS" but it's pure soul expression. People these days are so programmed they can hardly let go and let a heartsong flow through them. Yet they wonder how she sounds so emotive. Lolz.

I love how she was so used to performing this song with sign language on stage, that even when she sings it live in the studio she's doing the sign language habitually.♡

I'm just discovering Sia too, and so happy I landed on this gem of an artist! Her new music is so different than the older stuff. However, I love all of it!! Just shows her diversity and deep crazy talent!! Can't get enough!

I love Sia. She has the coolest voice ever. There are a bunch of her songs that I really like.....though most of them change up throughout the course of the song, and some of these sections don't exactly appeal to me. This song is well balanced....... great lyrics and beautifully sung.
