SIAMÉS's third studio album, MELODRAMATIC, was recorded with the entire band at the iconic Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas, USA. It features lead singers Barbie Williams and Sergio Bufi (aka Serge) and marks the dawn of a new era, "The Melodramatic Era."
Hector Castillo recorded the sessions in Texas, USA; Brian Taylor managed the mixes and production details in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Matt Colton mastered the songs in London, England.
"We focused on capturing the sound of the band playing live using vintage instruments, mics, and amps available at the studio. We deliberately avoided adding extra layers or instruments that the six members couldn't play live, ensuring an authentic and refreshed sound."
All the songs were recorded at Studio A, the first studio established at Sonic Ranch in 1989. It has an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere, surrounded by nature, and ruled by CATS" 🐈

This one goes for my little one who is playing right now in the stars where she belongs. She died 5 years ago to Parvo. Had to make a slight apology to you Siames, cause I found this one to be really nice. Such a gentle little song, also reading that it's about Blakk and his cat makes me smile, it's cute. Still not huge on the lyrics sometimes, and also the tracklist is a bit weird at this point for some things, but I won't express myself on that since it's not complete yet. But still, good stuff, will listen to the next tracks.

I just miss that explosive mixture of music that BITM had and that I didn't found in almost anything after that; not to say what came after is worthless, absolutely, just...I saw a lot of potential that wasn't used as much as in BITM. But, at this point, it doesn't really matter, you had taken your way, and despite being not what I hoped for, I still get behind it and still find always something interesting despite the songs being not the best; but that little element of interest matter, and that's enough

Oh wow. I love this! The Wurlitzer plus the drum beat, adds a 70s flavor, the bridge reminds me of Jim Croce's pieces that had a larger band in a song, and the steel guitar give it a bit of a country/Americana twang-but it's still distinctively Saimes.
