When HM RamaV went to Europe he brought back to Thailand many designs and structural ideas to improve the nation, including cross country railways and sophisticated electrical grids. He also abolished slavery in the early 1900's. Great man, Great King

Been looking into some of the kings, and it truly seems like democracy is a total joke. Humble and disciplined king could do so much to a nation compared to the corrupt politicians who spend too much time and resources arguin about stupid shit.
Actually there are so many stupid people.. Maybe they don't understand what thumbs down means 😂😂😂.. Seriously! I've seen tons of social media reviews that say nice things about a product or service.... Then give it ONE star. They are just dumb.

Wonderful Destination and very interesting to see how the country has developed. I have been in Thailand many times. Short and l long stays. My son was born in RAYONG in 2021. He was very sick and the Thai chirugeon (heart specialist ) from Bangkok saved my little boys life. We didn't had an insurance at all but the Thai people supported us all the way through. My own countries embassy didn't support anything. This I will never forget and we are heading to Thailand, soon. We will also visiting the chirugeon and his team to say hello.

Look at what they dressed at that period of time. Their dresses both men and women were really quite unique as "Thai" and more gorgeous and glamorous than today modernized one.
@1morchang5 жыл бұрын
Not really, they still dress like that in some rural areas .

After WWII the Priminister at that time made a campaign that in order to be modernized country we should wear western style, even wearing hats. Old people were ordered to stop chewing betel nut.

Interesting to see point(s) at which signage began to use Latin (Roman) alphabet.
Nice Esan or North eastern style background music, but during those time,Esan were rarely seen in the show. The area considered very arid remote rural and underdeveloped compare to other area in the country until the 60s.

This is Isaan music, a music from a tribe of Tai and Lao people...Siamese People from central Thailand has nothing to do with this culture...they are more like indian....but it is still thailand so its ok :) and thank you for the upload.
@FingersKungfu6 жыл бұрын
You actually know nothing about the Thai people. Absolutely nothing. The Siamese are also "Tai speaking"people just like other Tai groups. The Thai vocabulary and Isaan or Lao are 90%+ similar. Even today modern Thai vocab still has traditional tai words and expression in it. Moreover, the "Luktung" music of central Thailand strongly influenced the development of modern Isaan music into what it is today. This is because 50-60 years ago the Thais in the central region far out numbered the Northeastern Thais (Isaan people). With the two cultures coexisting with each other like this, there won't be this kind of musical innovation. Check the fact before spreading Fake News.
