I really like how Donggook raise his kids, especially Sian. We’ve seen how Donggook raised his girls to take care of each other no matter what the situation is and how they should look after Sian. Meanwhile, Donggook taught Sian how to take care of himself and his older sisters as well. I think Donggook just did all the trainings so they would know how to react at some hard situations when their parents aren’t around.

Kristi Pavey lollll it's not that deep. He teaches his girls to be strong too. Actually sian is a bit more softhearted than the girls so donggook is always teaching him to be strong. It's especially needed with how feisty is sisters are, otherwise he'll just have everything taken from him and have people walk all over him because he's such a pure little kid.

I think Donggok is clearly a good dad, as he really tries to be invested in his kids even though he's away a lot for games. He always encourages them to do a variety of different things and doesn't yell at them when they do something wrong. He explains why it was wrong and even makes things fun. The only thing I dislike is when he tells Sian that "men don't cry". That's a really bad way to raise your sons. They'll grow up thinking they have no right to express their emotions and they'll hide their feelings. I understand this view coming from an Asian family, because that's how our fathers were raised when they were young and that's what society taught them. But I wish they wouldn't pass it down. Other than that, he's a great dad!

People nowadays are so sensitive. Im a fan of Sian’s family and this is definitely not abuse. Sian is the youngest, the only boy, and the only kid who does not have a twin in his family. Everyone has a team in their family. Even though the TROS feature SeolSuDae, Seola and Sua are always together. Donggook is always there for Sian. In TROS, kids are always playful and when they dont get what they want, they cry. Meanwhile, Sian is different. He doesnt usually cry even when he was a baby. There was a time they visited the hospital and Donggook told the Doctor that Sian doesnt cry and he only cries when he teases him. Crying is believed to make your heart stronger. Donggook always tease Sian to make him cry but console Sian once he starts crying. He was just trying to tell Sian that girls and boys have different ways to handle things. In Asian culture, when the boys grow up and have family on their own, they will be the leader of their own family. How will Sian be a leader when his 4 older sister baby him? Donggook is there to balance everything. He is not that tough to his 4 daughters but he is different to Sian. Sian grew up to be kind, loving, independent person. And his action show that he posesses leadership skills. Why? Because that’s the result of having 4sisters and Donggook. Of all the TROS finale, Donggook is the only father who cried. I think it is because he became very close to the crew. And I can attest that no one can replace this family. I don’t have a dad but if ever I will have a Dad, I want it to be just like Donggook appa.
