Jaesi got eye surgery (double eyelids and other stuff) and other surgery though. Not that that’s wrong, I know it’s a norm, but your comment implies it’s all natural and expected. I was such a huuuge TROS Seolsudae fan but their family’s KZbin channel shows how the parents imposes such weird beauty and dressing ideals on the kids, which was hinted at during TROS (eg Donggook not letting the girls wear shorts which they wanted, and making them wear dresses instead; always calling Sua pig cos she’s on the chunkier side; and so on). They’ve even been criticised by Koreans, who are already used to a high level of beauty consciousness, for imposing such awful beauty standards on Seola and Sua based on the kind of things those two poor girls say on the family KZbin videos. I also find it hurtful how their mum puts insane amounts of whitening, eye enlarging, face slimming filters on her own kids’ faces on Instagram (tho she toned down on it now that Koreans have criticised her for it). I mean Lee Donggook married someone literally famous for just being a beauty queen/pageant winner (and then famously cheated on her with other younger prettier women when Jaesi and Jae-ah were a few months old) so their family values are unsurprising I guess. :/ Okay a bit of a rant but yeah ofc the kids will “look good” given the family obsession with being “feminine” and beautiful.
