When I was in Siargao, the Philippines, I heard a lot of stories about the Super Typhoon Odette (Rai) that hit this island in December 2021.
As a European person, it's hard for me to imagine what it's like to be affected by a super typhoon and what consequences it has.
So I decided to interview locals to ask them how they experienced it. It was heartbreaking. 💔

The typhoon Odette is so bad, but not only Siargao was damaged by the Typhoon also Visayas.
