Dutch health care is not for hypochondriacs or people who want to be medicated for every little booboo they have. If we would cater to these people health care would be unaffordable, also taking medication when not absolutely needed is very unhealthy. For instance you were not feeling well 3 times in 6 months, you think you knew better than an actual doctor, and you took some vitamins, that did nothing, and now you convinced yourself that's what cured you, when in reality it did nothing and the Dutch doctor was right about everything: there was nothing wrong with you that needed medication or treatment. You are one of the persons that make healthcare more expensive than it should be. Also stories on social media is not accurate data on Dutch healthcare (or on anything for that fact, it's social media). What is accurate is that Dutch people have a very high life expectancy, about 15 years more than were your are from, despite the excellent preventive healthcare system and voodoo vitamin concoctions you rely on, in your home country.

This is so interesting! I live in Canada and had 3 different (separate times) LD boyfriends who live in The Netherlands. I met them on a random forum back in the day 😂 (2000s) and I'm still friends with 2/3 of them. They're all married with kids now, and I sometimes wonder if we'd met up IRL what the dates would've been like. It was not from a lack of trying, but transatlantic flights are apparently costly for teenagers. 💀😋
