It is such sad-sounding music that I have a tear in my eye. I am a Finn so Sibelius is part of my soul, but one hears his piano pieces rather seldom. The piano has a beautiful sound. This was composed just the next year of my mother's birth.

Thank you for playing this piece and introducing me to another world entirely of GREAT classical music!! I had never even heard of Sibelius, nor listened to any of his recordings until now. I want to learn this SO BADLY!!! Can you please play more pieces, or movements rather, from Belshazzar's Feast? I found the entire suite, I guess you might say, on imslp! I want to hear them all played!! Your the man!! Absolutely breathtaking, Paul. Your ear is musicality...well, PERFECTION!!

There is a pianist on KZbin named Jung Lin who plays this same piece but calls it her own arrangement. Besides adding a little run at the end, taken directly from the famous violin arrangement by Michael press, it is no different from this arrangement made by Sibelius himself. Sorry, but I just don't think she should be allowed to steal music that way.

Where does one draw the line at musical theft? Sorry, but I just don't think a person should be allowed to steal music that way.
