I haven't worked with this shrub before. I had a misconception the cuttings needed to be on the smaller size. thanks for sharing and helping to avoid my misstep in the future.

The homeowner before me planted a BUNCH of Siberian Pea Shrubs as a windbreak - in the middle of what I call the orchard (a few fruit and other trees). I hated them because they looked so shaggy and unkempt. I had about 30 ripped out in the orchard, but kept a bunch more toward the back of the property. I've been trimming them as well, making them look more like trees. haha I had no idea you could take a small trunk and replant them. I'm going to try that around the perimeter of my property where I'd rather have them. I also didn't know they mad noise when casting seeds (whatever that is - I'll have to look it up). This is a great video!

Your. Oreos are always interesting and informative. Regarding the Elderberries, we see them growing alongside the roads always near or in ditches or low spots.♥️👍

Do you catch the peas and try fermenting them to feed the chickens?

When my husband thinks about gardening, the video in his head is: you turn over some dirt and plant seeds in a row. Then you leave it alone. Can you recommend some books to help me educate him toward growing a food forest on a half acre? We'll be doing this in middle Tennessee at an elevation of about a thousand feet and I really hope he'll let me keep rabbits.

It is unusual to see that you have cultivated it. We have a lot of it in Siberia, it grows in large areas. It is eaten by goats and deer, due to the high content of fatty oils and high calorie content. Including in winter at -40 C
