Found your channel recently, so fun! I live in Portland, LOVE Starlight, and so fun watching someone local! I went to Oregon Flock and Fiber Fest for the first time this year and will be going to Sacred Sheep Saturday! 👏👏👏 And it would be such a dream to make it to Rhinebeck! Maybe next year. 🎉

I’ve never been to Rhinebeck, but I would love to one day! I do love watching peoples recaps, makes me feel like I was a little bit there as well. I’ve been to a few wool festivals here in the Netherlands throughout the years (unfortunately the ones I’ve been to were without the sheep 😢).

It was enjoyable finding your channel. I went to my first Rhinebeck on Saturday. The only thing I bought was food. I met many of the people I follow on KZbin that was exciting. I would like to go again, but not on Saturday. It was a bit overwhelming by the number of people.

Tim, I’m so proud you are well on your way to being a birder, it was a cardinal you were hearing when you said you needed to whip out the app! It was so fun to meet you both, and knit together! Perfect end to my first rhinebeck weekend 🐑

So excited to see that you love Louie and Lola yarn. They are awesome! One of the many fantastic Australian indie dyers. I am in Queensland Australia. I have never been to Rhinebeck, every year I watch the podcasts of those who go and get very jealous. I’d love to go one day, it’s on the bucket list. In Australia we have the Bendigo sheep and wool show which is the largest wool show in the country. I have been lucky enough to attend just once. The access to independent growers spinners and dyers all in one place is my favourite part. Many of those who attend the Bendigo show don’t have an online presence so you have to be at the show to get their amazing products. I have nearly run out of my stash from the only time I’ve attended. I am saving for the next time. I’m loving the new show. Can’t wait to see the next episode

Another Australian knitter here! 😊 I have been to Bendigo Sheep and Wool twice now and it’s definitely on my yearly calendar because I am lucky to live in Melbourne and it’s only 2 hours for me (incidentally I am originally from Queensland too, but it’s NEVER sweater weather up there! 😂). I hope to make a trip to Rhinebeck one day, but I’m also now pretty keen for Flock too!

I would love to go to Rhinebeck. I really enjoy all the stories everyone is sharing. I am not sure how i would do in the big crowds. You both bought some beautiful yarn. And it is nice hearing about all the people you go to meet. Love that you keep talking about the Canadian girls.

First time I’ve seen your channel. You two are so fun! I’m in AZ moved from CA six years ago. I’ve never been to a fiber festival but I’d love to go with my yarny friend. I have an older sister that lives in Vermont and my oldest in WA so there are some great yarn areas to visit 🥰🧶🧶 I’m going to go see your other videos. I loved the background scenery and the traveling videos. All the yarn 🧶 was so beautiful 🧶🧶🥰🥰👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

My first festival was Sacred Sheep last year and it was SO fun 😊 looking forward to it again this year, I’ll definitely be awkwardly saying hello if I see yall there!!!! love the podcast so much, thanks for always brightening my day with your lovely selves ❤

Rhinebeck is on my to-do list! I love how you made it into a full trip. I took note of the tips such as Saturday is for socializing, and Sunday is for shopping. Now I just need to gather some knitty friends to travel with! PS. We see lots of cardinals in Ontario, but I am still thrilled every time. They are so pretty.

I drove up to Rhinebeck from DC with my knitting friends this year. It was all of our first time going and we loved driving around the beautiful fall countryside and getting cozy in our pretty airbnb and knitting together. Probably won't be a regular trip so it was special to do it together this year!

Gather Here is my LYS! So cool to see it featured. for the past three years me and my bestie have been going to the Wayland winter farmer’s market for their “farm fiber Days” - which is the perfect scale of fiber fest for me. We’ve really grown our knitting/fiber practice since we started growing and it’s been an awesome annual ritual to check in and see how we’ve changed as crafters in the past year.

I loved attending the Wayland event when I was still in Boston! I agree it’s a great scale especially if crowds are overwhelming. Aww!

This was my first Rhinebeck! I also picked up some Jill Draper Kingston at Yarn Farm (colors Broadway and Elmdorf St) and immediately cast on Andrea Mowry's Night & Day cowl. Such good woolly wool and a great way to remember Kingston/Rhinebeck! Your NY patio looks lovely and relaxing - cardinals, chickadees, and all the knitting. Love your Rhinebeck recap and seeing your hauls!

I am from New York, but I live in Florida. Unfortunately I have not been to Rhinebeck...yet. I am hoping to go next year. I don't have a real local yarn store--the one here is curbside only, due to previous hurricane damages...so I live vicariously through YT. More important than the yarn is connecting with other fiber enthusiasts.

Birds are so important to us! And they bring us joy! I have been to a couple of Wool/Yarn Festivals but nothing like Rhinebeck. I think I love the smaller ones best and it isn't so overwhelming. I missed Woolstock here in Ontario this year due to unfortunate circumstances but there is always next year! Great podcast, I nearly passed it by because I do not really like the usual Rhinebeck coverage.
