Yea, but the all-stars thing is kinda hard. While we see the queens as talent we have to remember they are aging and health conditions could strike at any time. I'd love to see more girls from older seasons and we don't talk about as1. This show, at least the u.s. version, probably isn't going to go on without ru. Each passing season gets her closer to retirement. I'm excited for the rumored international all-stars seasons and would love to see Thailand back as well as something geared toward our Latina queens b/c something is lost in translation on the u.s. show

Yeah but why so many acting challenges? Are there always this many? I find them quite cringey to watch at times! I think the show is in danger of becoming lack lustre. Maybe the Queens are self doubting because of lockdowns. However they come off in the show, they won't be able to ride that wave and showcase their talents as successfully as the earlier seasons Queens. Many of the cast do the show to promote their drag career, quite rightly. But with the closure of events and venues for the past year, how can any of them hope to fly to the top, and also earn money. Some of the UK queens have been struggling financially, and had invested a lot in the show. Something is amiss anyway in Season 13, I honestly think some of those queens look a bit scared [Olivia, Simone, Kandy, Uttica,] and trying to be overly positive [toxic positivity?] In the earlier seasons, there was so much shade! Especially in Untucked...........now it's just a bad and repetitive edit - ' So who ddya think is the bottom this week, blah, blah blah....Season 6 was so iconic because of the character development. Ditzy Adore, Cocky Courtney, Gia Gag, .....all winding up the wonderful Bianca, who spanked them all hard but she ended up really close to a lot of them, even Gia I think! They ended up loving her too and each other.....and now they are all Super Queens......can't see many Super Queens coming out of this season, sadly. Bless our gurrls. Be kind all xxx

I understand Bob's point about season 13. At this point, a lot of the queens on Drag Race got into drag because of Drag Race, and in some cases the looks and personas feel very referential to queens from earlier seasons.

I agree. It’s like variations of Aquaria, Gigi Good, and Willam. They all were fantastic in their own right but Symone and Gottmik who are poised to win the season...aren’t original. Symone brings BlackPOP and Gottmik brings ArtPOP. I would like to see older queens on the show. Mik is a makeup genius, so if we’re discussing makeup, Symone & Rose can’t compete with that. While Symone is beautiful & charismatic - she relies a lot on the costume itself- she can sell a garment, but she doesn’t experiment with her face & she doesn’t accessorize enough (that denim needed band patches, rhinestones, something) - but it might not matter bc she’s such a great performer. I liked Rose’s dress but the styling was off, needed different hair color & that makeup was not mod-enough. Rose is a musical theater triple-threat, but her runway & makeup can’t compete with Mik (Rose’s devil costume is the exception). Mik is a combination of Kim Chi & Aquaria where the runway is always right, no one can compete w/ her complete look, but she’s not the strongest dancer, singer, or lip-syncer. Will be very shocked if Symone doesn’t win.

Aquaria was actually a decent dancer/performer. The problem with these 3 is that they excell in 3 distinct categories. Mik's make up skills are unmatched and has good runways but is a hit or miss in performance challenges. Rose is a really good performer but she lacks in runways and especially make up. Symone is a generally good performer, has great runways but lacks in make up, and even that is a stretch. But Symone has insane winner energy and star power and that puts her ahead.

Symone’s got a winning character (sweet toof) & has had some of the most powerful runways (trains, beads, BLM fascinator look), but it’s a no for sewing, makeup versatility, rusical work or roasting. Rose is ready for Broadway but I don’t really know what her drag is about beyond showcasing her Broadway-talent. I feel like Symone has some learning to do as far as versatility, but can’t see anyone else winning.

I feel like Symone and Gottmik stans really undermine Rose’s overall skill as a contestant. She’s never been in the bottom, she’s practically the top 3 almost every episode. Yes her looks have not been the most impressive compared to Gottmik and Symone but if we’re talking about overall talent I think Rose wins. Honestly, I feel like season 11 and 13 have...okay casts. 11 was pretty bad because I barely remembered what any of them did, and someone bringing them up is an "Oh yeah, she was on this season!" moment, and I remember when the promos for 13 came out, I just wasn't that excited to see majority of them perform. 12 was extremely strong to me because of all the unique aesthetics and personalities. I feel like everyone was memorable, and I enjoyed them as a whole.

Rajah O'hara - because she looked so cute as a goat in this one runway(zodiac signs, I think?) and also came for Plastique Tiara in untucked but immediately apologized (same episode where we got Brooke building herself a pillow fort and shouting "Can't we just bottle up our feelings like normal people?") A'keria Davenport - Miss Ass Almighty Miss Vanjie - Miss... Vanjie Scarlet O'hara - long luxurious hair out of drag Mercedes Iman Diamond - OPULENS. YOU. EARN. EVERYTHING. Kahanna Montrese - related to Miss Coco Montrese Ariel Versace - because of the wig thing and the "Nyesssss" Soju - popped a cyst. And honestly can't remember the rest. What did you remember of Season 11?

I think part of the reason I remember the queens when asked that question is because I'm intentionally quizzing myself, but I wouldn't really list any of the season 11 queens as any of my favourites. Brooke is talented, Yvie made the drag interesting, but Akira was just...pagent with ass and Silky was loud. Nina West I think I would put up there in my favourites because of her activism. I suppose I remember: Raja starting shit and the "do you bathe" because I see it quoted in drag race videos, What's her name- Ariel Versace and the dumb wig thing, The reveal Brooklyn did that gagged Ru.....uuhh, Silky's "I was motherfuckin' ready!", Now that you mention Vanjie, I guess the romance with her and Brooke, And that's really it, next to what you added.
