That’s the first time I’ve noticed in the live version. When he says, I wish I was special and the crowd screamed at him “you are!”. If we could ALL get that affirmation, that’s what this song is about…wanting to belong! GREAT SONG AND REACTION!

This was just the begining for Radiohead! They are brilliant live especially considering how their music evolves in complexity. OK Computer is the third album and acclaimed as one of the all time classics. I hope you do more Radiohead reactions - Paranoid Android (album version or live on Jools Holland) is on another level (many levels tbh) to Creep. 'No surprises' from the same album is an easier listen and has a great video. Cheers guys!

Thank you for this great reaction video! I LOVE Radiohead and I have enjoyed the journey through the years of their amazing giftedness and musicianship. If you haven't seen Paranoid Android live yet from Jools Holland it is definitely worth checking out and also I highly recommend In Rainbows From the Basement live recording. You can see just how incredibly overly gifted they all are. I love the song Creep, and it was interesting to learn that Thom and the band did not like it because it didn't represent what they were all about, but when they first began their career, it was the song that their manager and their record label wanted everyone to hear. They only performed that song live a few times and crowds would constantly scream out for them to do that song. Thom Yorke is so brilliant, they all are. I would suggest you go down the Radiohead rabbit hole trail and see for yourself. I also enjoy The Smile, Thom's and Jonny's side band project.

Best ever live performance from radiohead

This was probably 1994, as the song broke big in 1993. And yeah, time capsule, that's when I graduated High School. But I didn't become a huge Radiohead fan until 1997 when I heard their 3rd album, the classic "OK Computer" which immediately became my favorite album ever and still is, and Radiohead my favorite band ever which they still are. They are known for a lot, but their live performance skills are a big one...probably the best way to experience another taste is through a concert they did called "In Rainbows: From the Basement" which is live, in a studio, and is just an incredible thing to watch, for any music lovers. I'd recommend "Nude" from In The Basement as a good one to check out, especially if you like Thom Yorke's (that's the front man) singing. That's 2007 and their 7th album - "Creep" was their first single from their first album, and it's a good snapshot of a band who began with a single massive hit, but then evolved into one of the most iconic biggest bands in music history. Their sound evolved and changed and they tried to do new things and experiment with every album, often to immense success (5 of their 9 albums have been featured on the Rolling Stone Top 500 Albums list - taking those lists with a grain of salt of course but still, not too shabby as a legacy all from this first song) - through all of that, they never stopped writing about emotions and deeper ideas. Thanks for sharing your own cool history behind it too, gaining some context for a song you heard about the house growing up! Peace//

If you want to hear what a great vocalist he really is try Nude or Reckoner live from the basement either one blows this out of the water.

If you don't know much Radiohead, then Exit Music (For A Film) from OK Computer would be the best way to gently ease ones selves into this rabbit hole. Over their 9 studio albums, they have everything from grunge, punk, rock, electro, cinematic, orchestral, trip-hop, easy-listening, jazz, latin... They go almost everywhere and are one of the most musically charismatic bands ever.

Radiohead changed a lot over the years. While all their albuns are pretty much worthy listens, they started mutating their sound with their 3rd album "Ok Computer" in 1997, becoming a more complex and experimental rock group. Then came "Kid A" in 2000 and their experimentalism went through the roof, when they started to merge jazz and electronic music, among others, into their sound. They have been labelled since a totally deserved tittle of musical geniuses and to this day you can never be sure of what you're going to get sound wise when they release a new album, only that it's going to have top notch musicianship. They are one of the most influencial bands in the music scene of the past 30 years and they have a massive audience, which is an extremely rare feat for a band who constantly switches things up . The singer is Thom Yorke, but every single musician in the band is well worth you learning their name, because they're that good.

Thank you so much for filling us in! We had no idea that the band ended up becoming so experimental and diverse with their music, they're awesome, would definitely like to hear more of what they've created. Thank you for tuning in with us and thank you for giving us so much information about Radiohead! that helps alot

@@RNDReacts You're more then welcome. I reckon the next logical step would probably be checking out "Paranoid Android", which comes out of their mentioned 3rd album "Ok Computer" and is probably their most popular song after "Creep". It's success shocked the music industry at the time, since it's a long song (6:30) and already touches a lot more on the experimental side.

@@RNDReacts I'd recommend checking out their track Lotus Flower from 2011. It's a wildly different sound, but still has the vocal front and center and a great chorus.

It's frustrating when a reaction does not show emotion compatible with the song. The singer is screaming in pain, and you both are smiling as if not affected by the song. I think it's the difference that makes a great reaction channel: the person can feel the song truly and be able to show with any fake. Edit: The girl appears to be feeling something, but the guy doesn't show any expression except for smiling. This is just my opinion, and it might be something worth considering. Of course, I could be wrong too

I understand where you’re coming from. Their music aims to make an audience feel emotion. However, I think as artists themselves they are taking the aspect of appreciating the artistry and skill of the song. Similar to the people in the crowd appreciating the artistry of this beautiful music.🙏🏽

Don’t worry we had both heard the song many times in it’s entirety before this reaction, this was just our first time seeing the group live, so the pauses didn’t ruin us experiencing the song since we’ve heard it without pauses
