about what efra said about namjoon having a lot on his mind, i'm very sure he does but the thing about being a team and being bts is that they know when to take a backseat. i remember namjoon saying that he respects the members so much and that he knows when to listen, and basically that being a leader doesn't exempt him from taking advice. hobi is the dance leader (hobi and jimin are main dancers, taehyung and jungkook are lead dancers) and if you watch the rehearsal videos you see him and all the members just listen to each other because at the end of the day they all have the same goal in mind. so yeah i'm sure he has a lot running through his head but he's shared his gratefulness and appreciation for jhope multiple times (as well as the other members) for shouldering the responsibility of dance leader.

i also just love how much the members respect each other. like so many people take constructive criticism the wrong way but they're so receptive when someone points something out and always treat each other like equals. i find the hobi/bts dynamic so cute because they've all said they literally love when hobi compliments them. i especially find taehyung/hobi dynamic cute because taehyung has said since they were young he always worked to be praised by him and you can see how much he respects him as a dance leader and a person. he's literally everyone's cheerleader so cute

i actually got back into dancing because of taehyung and his charisma on stage. he's just so good at playing characters on stage and i'm so sad i never got to see singularity live because literally everyone who has seen it has said that there was a tangible feeling/hush and i wish i could experience that in person. his style of learning is so interesting to me and i've learned so much from him!! there's been so many instances where his memory just blew me away (collectively agreed on by the members btw). this man is really busting out moves from 2013 like the back of his hand, or just learning things on the spot (when he did jungkook's begin choreo after like 5 mins i was like this man is not real). and i wished this video showed that side of him more as a member of the dance line because sometimes it tends to get overlooked since he got that position later. he's definitely improved, his textures/ad-libs he makes on stage are so engaging to watch but he was getting attention from idols since the beginning for his facial expressions/charisma. they literally watch his performances them and study them like a textbook. he definitely inspired a whole generation of idols to be more expressive on stage (i'm literally not exaggerating there's whole comps lol) from the beginning.

He definitely has input and so do all the members as they said they didn't go with the original PTD choreo, and jungkook has previously choreographed for just one day etc. But he is not a choreographer. They have Brian Puspos, Sienna Lau, can't forget Son Sung-deuk who is their main performance director, but we often see hobi take this role too so yeah I would say he is also a performance director. Hobi is my bias but I love all the members equally and you shouldn't discredit anyone. Jhope and jimin are main dancers, but jhope is the dance leader. Main dancer is literally a higher position so I don't know why you're arguing lol. Taehyung and jungkook are lead dancers as well stay mad.

ahhhh i've been wanting you guys to watch a dance related bts video for so long! i also recommend "bts dance break practices" by Ida S it's so iconic. as for dancing it's so amazing to see how they've developed their own styles while maintaining synchronicity. as a big picture they move like one but when you focus you can see how they each stand out in their own ways. my favourite dance breaks have to be dionysus at mma 2019, the intro trailer, ON, and dynamite mma 2020 though i love them all so muchhh. fun fact: when i got into bts i didn't have a bias but after watching the intro performance trailer taehyung became my bias because of the way he looked at the camera during this one part. i can't tell you what exactly it was but it just gave me this incomporable feeling and when i started paying more attention i was amazed at what i found. as a performer i love watching them on stage and their processes of learning. lea salonga put it best about taehyung: it's like an acting lesson.

Btw Taehyung is also in the dance line. Many people love ignoring him while talking about the dance line but just to let you know if you don't know, he is in the dance line since 2018. And it is not surprising how he has the most viewed fancams, the reason is that he feels the music and shows it with his smooth and delicate moves. He has totally another style on his own. It is so satisfying just to focus on the way he moves and his face (since we know he also has a choreography of his facial expressions lol)

I feel like even if your a amazing dancer like jimin and jhope, jungkook You do have those moments where your caugbt off guard and miss a beat and its so annoying when that happens but its interesting to se how they all process learning choreo and how they execute but for prefrence sake my favourite it defo Jimin just because i feel his execution is so strong and in any genre he knows how to control his body where in every aspect such as communicating with audience and facial expressions he is able to showcase that will elegance, smothness but still let it flow in a natural way whether a fast or slow tempo and add the elements of contemporary and modern in just the way he moves his body

Back when I used to learn dance (I studied two classical dance forms-) our teacher used to first demonstrate, and then we were given time to practice, and it was relay evaluation lool the quicker you pass the better. If you are comfortable you cam go first the otheds just form a line behind you and we just give it a try. If you get an ok you can go back and rest and possibly help the others if it's a no u go back in the line and try to figure out where you went wrong. Ah it was such a fun time.

Actually there's only 2 main dancers which are J-hope and Jimin and two lead dancers which are jk and V . I've never seen V struggling with dancing . I think it's because according to j-hope and Jimin V learns the fastest and he memorizes the choreography the most his moves are swaggy and smooth and he uses popping and locking techniques in his dance he also is a king at body rolls . That's why probably we've never seen him actually practicing hard .So proud of him that's one of the reasons he's in the dance line

Btw I wouldn't say that we've never seen him practicing hard, obviously they all do. But rehearsal and practices are different. In the makings we often see him not go full out because he's either learning the dance or he's preserving his energy because they do this for hours; other members do this too. What he tends to do is a dancing term called "marking" which is basically doing the dance in a minimised way to get the tempo/speed right which is probably why he retains it the longest tbh. And then during rehearsals and official practices and on stage we see him explode and go all out and it's one of my favourite things ever. You also have to account for the fact that we don't see everything. In the DVDS when they do proper rehearsal, sometimes they're just quick cuts but you see them doing it as if they would do it on stage, but as they're making DVDS they focus more on how they learn. Honestly, the work they put in is so commendable

Hey guys, you need to check out Lay's newest song and dance practice! It's called "Flying Apsaras". There is a 40-second visualizer you should see first, then the dance practice. It was released a couple days ago. Lay is bringing out his Chinese culture in the song and I love it. An apsaras is a female celestial being of the clouds and water, and are very tradional subjects within Hindu and Buddhism, or Asia, Thailand and India, where the same apsaras belief is an ancient tradition within these religious areas. Lay is a story teller, but his culture in his music lately is very different and beautiful. He does not do trendy or commercial styles that is kpop-ish, he is Cpop for sure, and I appreciate the traditional sounds mixed in with modern beats. Lay does things HIS way, and he works hard being a perfectionist himself. Lay is art...in the purest form. Please put it on your list. Thanks.💙🌺

My favourite dance break is probably their Intro Performance Trailer (the one where they are all in white millitary/sailor outfits) it's seriously insane! Also the sass that Bighit had at the time, posting that video in response to shit camera work with all the 'very good camera' as if to say, we obviously have different definitions of what constitutes as good camera work, if you include what you did for our performance! 😂😭💀
