Bayesian foundations of Phylogenetic and Phylodynamic inference (1 of 4)

This talk was recorded live on 24 May 2023 as part of the course «Introduction to Bayesian Statistics with R». This 3-day course introduced participants to the core concepts of Bayesian statistics through lectures and applied examples. While the first two days were dedicated to lectures and practical exercises, the third day hosted a series of talks by experts from SIB groups, who presented state-of-the-art Bayesian methods and their application in the life sciences. This video is one of them.
Target audience: PhD students, postdoctoral and other researchers in the life sciences who were familiar with statistical inference and who would like to add the Bayesian perspective to enrich their research.
