The NYC Classical Guitar Society was very proud to provide a venue for Cristina's New York debut November 10, 2023. As wonderful as is this video, to hear her live is awe-inspiring. To use the words of "@renosance8941" in a comment below, "She made the guitar whisper, sing, argue, smile, dance and twirl." Cristina's ability to control dynamics, often with differing dynamics simultaneously in secondary voices is almost beyond comprehension. Cristina Galietto is a great artist with a blindingly bright future!

She plays with such sensitivity and feeling. Some pieces felt like I was hearing them for the first time. Tansman, a personal favorite, was beautifully played and interpeted. From a butterflys touch to a Lions growl this women has it all

Thanks for the wonderful music. I thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to your playing. In a recording I am sure any noise could be filtered out, but in a live performance, this type of fully-engaged emotional playing becomes an intense aerobic exercise, and I much prefer the performer's unfiltered music. In the same way I love to watch excited Italians hand waving in the use of their beautiful mother tongue, or a Utube YoYo MA performance when he got carried away by the most enchanting cello piece.
