Icecream in Sicily is something you never thought icecream could be. I live in the UK now but I am from Palermo. The icecream in small places like San Vito, Terrasini, even Cefalu' is unreal. You need to go where the locals go, because they would not settle for anything but the best.

I am hungarian from Budapest. I was three times in Sicily. 2x Palermo, Cefalù, Mondello, Isola delle Femmine. First time just before Covid in January 2020 and then in August when there was 36 degrees. last time 1 weeks ago in Siracusa and Noto. Although the Apollo medican had a really strong wind that time. But still there was 20 degrees and the temperature was like in Costa del Sol, Tunisia in this time. If next time I travel to Sicily I will focus on Trapani, Favignana, San Vito Lo Capo and Mazara del Vallo area.

@@TheGlobalExpats Castellammare del Golfo is better in many ways. San Vito Lo Capo it's only a summer destination.....only beaches. Other than that, looks like a cemetery. If you are searching for museum, art, story, folklore etc...Castellammare del Golfo - Scopello is a much more complete city, with his beaches too!

My husband and i were thinking of visiting Sicily in October he likes the wayer you think he could enjoy it or it’s better in the summer?

We visited San Vito Lo Capo 8 years ago. It was summer. We stayed at Custonaci. The beach was amazing. We got a shock of our lives when we paid for some gelati, dolce and café, it was way cheaper than in Taormina, where we spend our holidays yearly. We visited Erice, the medieval enchanted town on top of the mountain was cool! I regretted for not stopping by Castellamare del Golfo. Trapani is undescribable. Cefalù was my favorite. The small streets, the ancient Lavatoio, Cathedrale, ohhhh…what was not to like?

Ciao! We started watching and enjoyed your channel last summer before our first trip to Sicily. Upon our return to Sicily this summer we watched when you visited San Vito Lo Capo in October. We’re sorry you missed the warm weather! What a contrast when we arrived to a bustling town. We’ve enjoyed our days on the beach, strolling the town, and of course tasting the Caldo Freddo. Next, we’re headed to Aspra, a small fishing town we discovered last summer and also a return to Cefalu. We wish you continued buon viaggio.
