Thank you for sharing your health journey so openly with us. The part about having a few better days/weeks and thinking that maybe you were faking it or that you’re cured is so retable. I had the exact same thoughts after having 1,5 weeks worth of good days. And it’s comforting to know that I’m not alone in those thoughts ❤

Im so sorry you suffer from chronic migraines, but as a fellow migraine sufferer I’m glad you share your experience online. At the end of 2021 my migraines were terrible. Flash forward to 2023 and I hadn’t had a migraine in a year and a half. I thought I was cured! Up until last week when I felt/saw the aura starting and I immediately started crying 🥲 got hit with the worst migraine and had my “im cured” hopes absolutely shattered. It can feel like you’re so alone when you’re dealing with chronic pain (especially invisible pain like migraines). It’s nice to see you, my favorite KZbinr, be able to still make the most of life and do all the things even when struggling and dealing with chronic pain. You make me feel more hopeful about life and getting through all the trials and tribulations it throws my way!! Thank you for being so open and positive ❤❤❤

Hey Ally! I’m a newbie to your channel, but I have quickly fallen in love with your content and energy. I value your commitment to and love for reading. It’s inspiring to see someone spreading that energy so purely to a populous of people. As a bookseller, and coming across your content, it’s been great for my reading practice and helps me feel so much more motivated to pick up another book-perhaps one that I wouldn’t have selected for myself. So, thank you! I wanted to suggest 2 titles that I think you might enjoy. The first being “The Ghosts of Rose Hill” by R.M. Romero. It’s a Y.A. novel in verse that touches on the themes of Jewish folklore, love, immigration/first-generation stories, and coming of age. It’s hauntingly beautiful and one that I’m so thankful to have picked up one day. It reads like pure poetry, and since you’re trying to stay in the lane of poetry lately, maybe you’ll like it. The second title being “Gender Queer” by Maia Kobabe. It’s a graphic memoir centered around gender identity and self-discovery. It’s absolutely stunning and takes readers on a visceral journey through Maia’s experience learning about eir gender identity. It’s also been at the hands of book banning in the states, and so many are trying to erase it from the shelves of school libraries. So, there’s an added layer of keeping people whose stories are so so desperately needed to continue to be seen and heard. Anywho, that’s all from lil’ ole me! Can’t wait for the next video! 📚

I read dogs of summer in spanish a while ago and it's written with accents from the canary islands (particularly a small town in the north of Tenerife) which was very interesting so I can't wait to hear how they translate that to english! I've been getting a lot of headaches and migraines in the past month, when I never had much of an issue with them previously.
