Oh hell yeah, all these modern day mechanical Spartans dont have Quit wired up or even installed. The Full Send on display is absolutely a polish to the badassery of thrashing for an entire week while not really trying to save these cars from breaking. As in, aint no one reducing their launch RPM unless the car is already hurt, just 100% until its broke, then 205% until the rods exit stage left. Man, I dont have any cash, but id love to do ome of these in my 1998 k1500, 230k miles, I'm thinking it should have the ring gap by now to run 300hp on the Smurf sauce. ......once.... Lmao. @@warrenmichael918 ,The engine was already hurt. It would of torched the head even if it had water in it. it was really are safety issue. if the engine was filled with water, when it popped it would of sprayed water everywhere and most likely under the rear tires and that is never a good thing. Like Kevin said in the video they hurt the engine in Georgia with it running out of injector and making it go lean.
@kimberjones99682 жыл бұрын
@@warrenmichael918 it wasn’t a hard decision to make and we mentally prepared for the outcome. Draining water was necessary for the pass and safety. As you saw he was ready for chute. Fire system was ready too. Calculated risk to ensure it ran 7. Belly pan would have caught the rest.

Now with more time and money, I want to get back into it again. I am a decent mig welder, but I would find it informative for a guy like you to explain welding mild steel, chrome moly, why you can't mig moly, but you can tig moly to mild, if you have a car with a moly cage, can you mig a bracket to it? That is all confusing to me, and having an expert like yourself explain it all would be awesome
